Thanks, SPG, for being authentic. Genuinely, one of the reasons I have followed you for so long is that I don't feel like there is this fake persona and it's just refreshing to watch someone who cares about the same things in life. 🌱💚📷

It's good that you're talking about things that we as an audience can do “better” to improve your reach, earnings, etc. People who are not creators have no idea how some activities affect the algorithm and how easily they can mess it up. Awareness needs to be raised! 💪 P.S. I love these lego flowers, they are the only plants on which I don't have pests😂💚

I kind of feel like KZbin is more authentic whereas on IG and TikTok are a bunch of shorts that are meant to be funny. Yes, there are some DYIs, etc. but I just personally like this better. As far as your channel goes, I love it because I do feel like I'm almost in person with you. You're not bouncing all over the screen, acting a fool... you're giving VERY helpful tips and tricks as far as plants go and you can very much see how genuine you are. It's nice to see someone creating the content without a bunch of edits as well. You can absolutely tell, and it gets annoying after a while. I want to see the bloopers! lol Anyway, thank you for what you do and keep it up, we enjoy you so much! P.S.... To answer your question, I found you here on KZbin first :) 🎥📸

How funny because I just talked about this in a reading. People really don’t understand the stress and pressures put into content creating. It’s taken 5 years to grow to over 26k still feels like a climb everyday. This is a hard job. Love your content and keep growing.. no pun intended. 😂❤

I think one of the biggest reasons why I like to watch your videos (despite the endless inspiration that I get from them and the truly AMAZING 💚 plants and tips and so) is that you really sound honest and authentic and you make your audience feel like we can be ourselves as well and as you say, that’s OK, with all the success and all the failures and so on. And I think that’s exactly what you did in this video as well and it’s just really great authentic content. It helps to educate us and raise awareness about the work of content creators and how to show appreciation for it. I really needed a bit of a “lesson” about it. Thank you for sharing it with us! 💚 📸

Thanks for another great video. Very informative. I’m glad you took time to do some planty things the other day without filming and enjoyed yourself. The struggle to feel like you need to film everything is real and it can take the fun out of the hobby. I really enjoy the long form content. I wish YT wasn’t pushing so much for short form. I hate shorts and rarely watch them. I go to YT to learn about things I’m interested in and I can’t get that kind of information in a short. Your videos are always informative and entertaining. Thanks for all you do. 😊🎥

Interesting topic. I think you have influenced/educated many into using mosspoles and perhaps into trying out/purchasing certain plants (to grow them on mosspoles) 😅 Like you said, it probably helped that you could already show the proof, give your watchers enthusiasm about trying things and goals for what they wanted theirs plants/houses/collections to look like Good to know about that first 24 hours.. I tend to sometimes leave the vids that I am sure Ill enjoy until I have gone through some I am not sure of yet… as in save the best for last. Will definitely stop doing that now! (Also wont be stressing about watching all new content within 24 hours, watching KZbin is to relax 😅) Does pausing a video and watching the rest of it at a later time have an impact as well? Subscribing…. I don’t subscribe to channels that I would watch a video from every now and then (even though its free and might help the content creator). I find the impulse of “hey theres a new video” very disruptive if it is something that I am not interested in. Which led to “only” being subscribed to a bunch of channels at a time of which I actually will watch most of the content. If someone has 50% plant shopping/hauls and 50% how they grow their plants, I will not be subscribing even though I am potentially interested in half of their videos (Just sharing for insight) Found you on KZbin People who watch content shouldn’t hate, stop watching if you don’t agree/approve, its that easy… Sometimes I do wonder if I should drop a line to explain why if I didn’t finish a vid, and always decide against it because I don’t want them to feel discouraged/hurt… then again it would have provided a useful tip maybe As for views… there is always so much new content… and people have so little time in comparison… sometimes some peoples lives gets too busy to watch anything at al 🤔. To me as a viewer it sometimes feels like too many things wanting attention at the same time (especially when 10 or so channels upload a new 30-60 mins video on the same day). Getting 2k views (I assume in the first couple of days) means that 2k people found your content one of the most interesting/important things to do in their spare time (I mean… how many hours of spare time does an average person have). Maybe its not enough income wise, but it is still a huge compliment to you yourself and the content that you create 😊 And gosh I ended up writing an email-comment again 😅 Hope thats ok 🌱 📷

I truly appreciate all of the time and effort you put into your content. You should be aware that you are an inspiration not only to myself but many many others that I know and certainly many more that are unknown. I learned more from this video than I have in my 3 month attempt to figure this out on my own. I am very much OCD in how the final outcome of the video looks, and I ALWAYS talk myself out of posting. I beat myself up to the point that I catastrophically implode. Sometimes, to the point that I actually go back and remove older posts! I'm just starting out obviously and very thankful that I had the opportunity to see this now rather than later. THANK YOU! ❤🎉❤ 38:48

I liked the vibe, your humor and I stayed there! 💛🇨🇦 You are interesting on many subjects. I don't have any Aroid or moss pole 😆 I have several plants, but not of this type. What you say, present, explain is educational and fun. I listen to you while working so I appreciate the long videos, a bit like a podcast! 📷 As a subscriber it's nice to know how to be a "better" viewer so that I can support you so that you can continue creating. Wish I could watch all of your videos right away but I live on the opposite side of the world so that's not really feasible due to the time difference 😅 But I will try to watch them the same day I see that there's a new one 🙂 I found your channel when I was searching moss pole related hashtags on Instagram, but didn't subscribe to your channel on KZbin until after I had created my first moss pole. It was unfortunately NOT made according to your recommendations, and I found your content again when I was troubleshooting why it wasn't working. I had made every mistake really: I put a too mature monstera deliciosa on a moss pole that was poorly constructed using the wrong kind of wire mesh (hexagonal and sort of flimsy), it was too wide and therefore contained too much sphagnum moss, it was in a too big pot with a potting mix that was not chunky and not well draining enough. That monstera sadly died (duh🙄😜) but I managed to take propagations and will try again when they are ready (I want to put a monstera deliciosa on a moss pole even though you don't think they need it, because I think it will look more neat that way). After seeing your content I got curious about different sorts of climbing aroids (had never heard of most of them before) so now I've put an el choco red, a verrucosum and a regular pothos on moss poles that are constructed using your techniques, approximately 1,5-2 months ago. Only the el choco has started to attach so far, but if it works I will definitely start recommending your youtube channel (and specifically the instructions for how to make moss poles) in the Swedish Facebook plant groups I'm in, because I see a lot of questions about moss poles there. I don't want to recommend something I've not tried and had success with myself though, but hopefully proof will be in the pudding (😉) and some of of my plants will make it and hopefully thrive this time 🪴🌿

Several comments and/or questions on the content of this video: Re: Title You are right in that it matters. I have noticed that I get irritated with titles that say “You are doing this all wrong!” Yes, I may watch the video, but it won’t take long before I start avoiding that KZbinr. I will not leave a negative comment, just ignore the videos in the future. When it comes to plants, I do a lot of things “wrong,” but it works well enough for me. Same goes for titles that are unrelated or inflated. I appreciate titles that lets me know what content to expect. Speed and watch time: Unless it is a movie, language lesson, or music, I listen and watch all KZbin videos at double speed. I don’t know how that impacts the content maker, but that is how I can cover what I want to watch. Sometimes I also skip part of the video. Travel videos: I am slightly surprised that I do not enjoy or have the patience to watch them. I love visiting botanical gardens during the summer. It is good for the soul to walk among beautiful plants, rest on a bench, get ideas, etc. But seeing it on a screen is not the same for me. Just an observation. I apologize if some of my comments are negative. I am just trying to relay how I react to videos. Secondly, I wonder if you have ideas on filming plants for your own reference. As a rather private person, I have no desire to upload videos to the internet, but it might be fun and useful to do some for your own reference. I have both houseplants and a garden. Thank you for an insightful video.

Does it make a difference to your view time revenue if we speed you up? I often speed up my watching speed due to time restraints but does that affect your view watch hours?

Mmm actually I have no idea 🤷🏻♂️ but I personally always watch in faster speed :D

Very good info! I enjoy every one of your videos because you're genuine and likable, but sometimes, if the headings sound like something my conditions won't support, (anthuriums & velvets😥) or have already seen , I might wait a few days if it's a long one. Won't do that any more! I also thought that once I'd watched, liked, commented, that was it. Are you saying that if we watch 3 times, you are credited with 3 views? As an oldie with mobility issues, I love it when you take us touring, so I'm surprised and disappointed that those videos don't get more views. Also, do we have to watch full advert to get credit, or what happens if we skip? Love these chatty videos, and these cute lego flowers. 🌻💐🏵🌾. The only hard part about watching your videos is finding the emoji, but I figure we owe you that. 😻💚 Smiile 📸

Hi, I like ur videos and the way ur explaing. Inspired by ur video I just bought philodendron Melanochrysum small baby plug wrapped in cotton with some soil and verrucoum baby. Can u suggest me what should I do next. can I place it in spagnum moss or into the Airoid mix. They just have 3 or 4 roots and nearly 3 inches in length.
