To be honest I was far from ready to be a single dad my ex walked away from my kids and myself she signed all the papers in court giving me full guardianship. It’s been 12 years for me and I’ve had so many hard times as a single dad. But I wouldn’t trade it in for anything else. I’ve had the privilege of watching my kids grow and become respectful young men. I’m 37 now and barley have a social life or ever go out on dates. But I love my time with my kids and my most proudest moment was buying a house for us when everyone doubted I could do it. As much as I try to stay positive I also have days I’m just so lost. But I’m doing my best for them

I definitely feel alone and im doing this on my own, but my son is smart happy. he's active in sports. I'm dedicating my life to my reason to live. Yes, I feel I never have time to do things I want, date, etc. But these are years we will never get back. You blink and they're 15, 16, and don't want to hang with you at all. Hope that isn't my case. Stay strong all single dads!

❤❤❤ It's 2023 and being a single conscious dad. I've cracked the code. It's not easy but fun. Raising my 3 year old boy alone has helped my emotional intelligence to do my art works. After moving on after two years. I've met a partner which is awesome for any dad facing hardships, even though she's in America and I'm in Africa, she has unconditional love for our son. Which melts my heart, thinking I'm also in a long distance, where a real hug would make me feel great, but my son has been there to offer that. I'm more happy seeing struggling happy dad's out there. Big ups. I'm not alone, but a community of awesome beautiful guys. My advice. Let's stay loving and be supportive. I'm grateful with gratitude to have love within.

The irony of being a single parent who is doing a good job at raising their children is that the character and qualities you.must cultivate and display to do this makes you an excellent choice for a mate: you are able to put other people's needs before yours, make sacrifices, think long term, etc. I am not a single parent btw and I get that some people.are wary of getting involbed in a situation where exes may still be in the background due to co parenting and legal issues, but goodness - give these folks a break. They may have gotten the raw end of the deal and are trying to move on with dignity and hope for a better future for themselbes and their children.

it's harder than being lonely, because you aren't actually alone. it's so frequently very lonely, but also constantly demanding in a way that being alone isn't. being alone would be way, way easier. but I've made my choice, I'll sacrifice my entire life for my child if it's what is required
@Ebizzill5 ай бұрын
This videos should be used as a massive PSA for young men who think that leaving their partner to handle raising the children is an absolute breeze while they lounge around essentially using weaponized incompetence as a means to not have to deal with the kids.

@witikka51348 ай бұрын
Single dad at 19 now I’m 21. I feel mentally destroyed, the mother doesn’t want to help or even watch him. I’ve been single for two years no sex no relationships. I’ve lost friends and I feel all alone. It’s been a rough journey but I know things will get better soon but sometimes soon feels so far away. I wish every dad the best in the journey. Commitment are not the same anymore baby mother has 3 kids at 21 now and wants to dump her other kids on the other two baby fathers. Feminism is real and this is what it has become just get use to it. Talk to her recently and all she talked about is how she gets plenty of men and how she wants to be “outside”. Things like this hurts because I really did love her and all she did was make my life a living hell through court and now abandonment.
