rogan doesn't shove it down your throat though. he also isn't doing media to try to prove he's some righteous be all person. rogan has his own show and gives his opinions on his show. just like any other show you might watch. if the political opinion of someone bothers you, you are one weak minded fuck, honestly.

It sounds like Dave is comparing science to religion, whose perceived strength has historically been anchored around the fact that it can't technically be disproved. I'm not sure what he heard on Rogan, but a scientific theory isn't the same as a theory in the colloquial sense. Saying "the multiverse theory" isn't the same as saying "Einstein's theory of relativity." I don't know who he thinks is getting rich off the multiverse theory, but it certainly isn't being used as the basis for any real research or taken seriously in the larger scientific community. It's just an interesting idea at this point. If he thinks the multiverse theory is wild, just wait till he finds out about dark matter.

i dont know how many episodes of rogan you have watched. I've watched well over 200-300 at this point. He has like 3 THOUSAND episodes. The best part about podcasts, is you can skip forward or only listen to parts you want. I skip politics on his show all the time because i think politics are for dorks. both teams play for the same team and convince smooth brains they have "morals". Meanwhile both sides cover up anything that gets out to the public, like epstein.

If you wipe possible theories off the table of consideration simply because they can't be currently proven, discounts the possibility of them ever being proven. When quantum physics was just an unprovable theory that many doubted had any possiblility of ever being proven, or even testable, they didn't wipe it off the table, and years later they found ways of testing aspects of quantum physics, and it's not the very cutting edge of physics. They still can't wrap their heads fully around it yet, but they are well past any doubt that there is something of great value in it. If they had just wiped it off the table, nobody would have tried and no discoveries would have been made. Almost every invention started as a theory, and some seemed unprovable until they were proven. Never close your mind!!!!!!!!!

Great reaction guys. On the topic of science and theories ect. I just think we have to be really careful about discrediting theories just because we may not have the background or technical knowledge to know whether or not they're accurate. I think you could use that argument to try and discredit a lot of things in life that shouldn't be discredited. A theory in science is just a tentative explanation for an observation. The explanation gets tested and reviewed by other scientists with the same background knowledge. If it holds up under scrutiny it becomes accepted as the best possible explanation FOR NOW since there are no absolute truths in science and new information can always change things. I say all that just to say that while technically a scientist could just make stuff up, the way the system works is that other scientists with same background and technical knowledge are supposed to check their work and keep them honest. Sorry for the long speech guess I got triggered too lol! 😆

Talking about science that nobody can prove is literally the basis for science. Theories are the core basis of science The theory that the Earth revolves around the Sun, the theory of gravity the theory of black holes. The theory of star nuclear fusion Everything that we know in the The sciences we're at one point theories that will work on scrutinize talked about and then eventually either proven correct or not correct That's the basis of science asking questions.😂😂😂

Stay in your lane celebrities. Just because people listen to you on the topic you are good at does not mean you have the correct opinion on the topics they know nothing about. That is when it goes off the rails for everyone. Neil Degrasse is a perfect example of a celebrity who has gone off the rails. We don't care about your transgender opinions. Stay in your lane, Neil! 👍👍👍

I dont know one way or the other on the idea of having multi "universes" but I think then we need to rename what we think is the "universe" we are in to another name, and the whole parts of every "universe" is part of the one and only Universe, because that does mean everything? And if you let that box sit there for over a week, you will know the answer is, the cat is now dead! with out even looking under the lid.

Also you should be aware that being an expert in, say, astrophysics doesn't mean you're an expert on biology or psychology.

@@Miblive Neil has done a total of five first author papers in his life. All in the 80s and 90s. Were they exceptional papers? No. In that time Harvard turned him down for post grad. University of Texas flunked him and showed him the door. His advisors at U.T. correctly informed him he had no aptitude for astrophysics. Since his very brief and sub mediocre career in research he has been a pop science celebrity. Regurgitating stuff people should have learned in high school. And often getting even that wrong. His bad math and science are merely annoying. I don't care if pseudo nerds like yourself believe him when he says there are more transcendental numbers than irrationals. Much worse is his wrong history. It often contains false accusations. Using falsehoods to push a narrative is a serious offense. Neil is a joke when it comes to astrophysics.
