As a doctor, skin is skin and although there is some protection by melanin, black skin can sun burn and therefore, you do need sunscreen.

She has tried to help me find the rhythm by teaching me privately to dance but it is still hard for me. Regardless she loves me for me. Wishing you and Alex all the best. It's not weird for a black person to wear sunscreen. It's highly recommended. My wife wears it! They can get cancer from the sun as well. Yes, my wife have natural protectant build into her skin but it's not enough to handle all sun exposure possibilities.

Yes we need protection too. I am very dark skin and yes...the sun CAN and WILL make me darker. I have rhythm but I cannot dance😂😅. We are not living in the 80's and 90's anymore. More black women are dating and will marry outside their race. I am one of them. Will be married 17 years next year. When you find that person, no matter race, go for it.

Landon Camden yo bro don't feel so bad, it's just stereotype, bc me among many of my relatives and friends cant dance either 😔 😞 ..them some of them can dance with that rhythm..plus when you see those white dancers doing that country one steps dance moves with the cowboy hats on and spinning etc.. be kool looking 😎 ..I heard the late music geniius ike turner broke it down about dance, he said white peo do 3 steps faster..and blacks do 3 steps slower bit has rhythm..well I'm not saying exactly how he explained it soooo well. How many black people in Africa or/and the Caribbean suffers from skin cancer? Isn’t that the function of skin melanin? Maybe I’m just missing or misunderstanding something. Great video. Absolutely wonderful to see that you speak the Swedish language. I think the not washing meats is a white European thing (not criticising). You both are good looking people. Both having model features (to me). It’s also a good sign when your partner is happy and comfortable to show public signs of affection. A very good sign. He also appears to be familiar with the JA culture and language/patois. You know they say there are more Jamaicans living outside of Jamaica than at home. I think that’s great too. People should travel and experience different cultures and places. Nigerians are wonderful explorers and aren’t scared to trade & relocate to different areas either. I love that energy about them (Ghanaian are also like that but to a lesser degree). This is just my observation. I’m not criticising anyone. Ok, Thanks and peace 🙏😏

Kem you are right about the sunscreen as a person of colour in the medical field it has been proven we need the sunscreen... and I lived in a cold country at one time my biggest problem was my lips ...use plenty of chap stick.. blistex or other lip balm, my lips stripped and bled alot. My dermatologist insist I wear sun screen and I’m pretty dark. I also notice that when I wear it I get a darker reddish bronzy ‘tan’ rather than a ashy brown. AND I have burned and peeled before. I turned purple, it wasn’t cute 😂

For sunscreen, the natural one to use is coconut oil if ur not allergic to it for any skin tones.. Sunscreen has so many chemicals that's not good for our bodies but I won't get into that. that's a whole different discussion. lol It's nice to watch ur videos. Keep that genuine love going.

Regardless of skin type it’s important to protect your skin from the sun. The diff is the level of SPF factor. The lighter the skin the higher the SPF factor.

You’re right Kem, as a Jamaican lady, it’s true to say our men find it difficult to show affection in public. They are mostly not very romantic. Not all of them know that ladies should be loved and treasured wherever we are. It’s just not ok to be affectionate when the lights are out. I see the love! Yes, black folks need sunscreen we get skin cancers. I dated a white guy and his skin was tough, and I just used to lotion him head to toe. They say "black don't crack" and that is because we moisturize our bodies. He used to rave over my soft skin and I had to explain why - moisturizing. Lol. I am 65+ and was at a baseball game and this woman next to me said "I see your silver hair, so you are older, but I need to touch your arm because it looks so soft." I let her. 😉 Wrinkles stay away. Lastly, though Alex doesn't dance on the beat, I am impressed that he responds to it all - vocals, instruments, all of it. I hear it all too, a bell strategically place, cymbals, kick drums, the sound of guitar strings. But I do dance to the beat still. Ok, that was long winded, but I like stories. Sorry. Love u two. Aah I'm a new viewer...sorta..I kinda browsed one day when I saw this guy Purposed on a beach& how yall met..this time that wedding caught my attention..LOVED LOVE LOVEED LOVED IT!!..Now as I watch this 3rd one, I think most of his Swedish ways are not whitish..lol..bc all restaurant do not wash their meats!!..I watched the guy open the packaged 🍖 roast, and each time he just put it on the 'cooking type grill stove', also once at the BBQ place the cook had several big slabs of meat in the same foam package thats In Stores that regular consumers purchases,and he did not wash the meat!! recently I've found out many people in American especially these younger generation don't wash the meat bc they think it's already washed at the meat factory..yuk..lol..they just don't realize nasty that it still needs washing..so I don't think it's a white thing..it's a man thang..lol..bc most of them dont believe in washing their hands as much either..lol.. but thats another topic..I think most people regardless of race has similar traits, you know black folks known to use more 🧂 thats why it's the #1 blood pressure issue in black american..now I've heard Jamaican probally use more seasonings.but all races use what ever we got in the kitchen 😉..I think his different trait pertaining to race is they love camping,⛷⚽️ ⛱,, his dance moves was pretty good at the wedding, better then some of my relatives. 😃.. now most men regardless of race does not use moisturizer that much; your husband seem to have a 'quite' spirit but can be talkative@ same time, did he have a gf while yall was just friends, did his fam had2get used him dating a black girl at first..although they looked accepting now..?is this both a 1st serious relationship for both of you? I don't know what it is about BWWM: BlackWomenWhiteMen relationships, but I believe they have the best LOVE and respect for each other, and why I say that is because...my sister Muffy, whom is a year older than me, I haven't seen in years, she is engaged to her boo...2 years younger than she is, whom is white male, green eyes, etc etc and their relationship I remember was ALWAYS TRUE LOVE!!❤❤❤💕🤞 I never see them fight much, though the main thing is that they were never ashamed of being together, age difference, race and color! In fact my husband is sweetish mostly and little German, and you would not believe how much he and your Alex are alike; and he has never been to Sweden haha, and now I think that some of his traits are because of his Heritage. And me too! Although I have no idea what part of Africa my roots Lie🤷🏽‍♀️….. But anyway I just love watching the two of you. Thanks for sharing❤

Kem, like me, maybe we have dated the wrong Jamaican guy; at some point in our lives. 🤣🤣😅. On the other hand, there are Jamaican men, who love to packed on PDA's It's like the old Jamaican proverbs: "Every hoe have dem tick a bush". 🤩

Jamaican men in the older generation in general, say over 15, were not shown much physical affection especially by their fathers so they struggle in public with emotions. Behind closed doors they are more affectionate. They think it is macho to not be too affectionate 🙄
