I think the cost of tuition is worth it, you can pick up a trade, freelance and not need a car and NYC has more job opportunities than a small State school.

As a Sternie who just participated in the Stern Reunion, I feel there's not a school that brings people together like NYU after graduation. In the recent reunion event, they lit the NY Public Library violet! It was also great meeting new alumni there. As a Sternie, we have a network of over 100,000. Many of them willing to help along the way in terms of mentorship, advice, and employment resource. Stern did a lot more for me than my undergraduate school by far.

The fact that the $27k semester cost DIDN'T INCLUDE room and board is absurd. Over $25k to take probably 4 to 5 classes without even including living expenses? At some point we need to ask how they're justifying that price.....

ktown nyc is really small but its growing, you could pass by most stores and restaurants in less than a handful of hours. id recommend using yelp to check out places

Hi there! i want to apply this med school and email there like a thousand time but all they send is a link which includes requirements and curriculum but don't answer the questions straight. I want to know, can i study online at this med school and attend the elective in my home country? Is there's any way to send special application that we want to study here online due to tons of personal reason and we can attend elective in our home country?

I wanna study for NYU but I’m planning on going to MC for 1 year of MC and 1 year of CC at NY. I have 820 SAT score and I was wondering if I still need to try to get between 1350-1530 SAT score. You said for freshman years should get that kind of score but I’m gonna try to apply at my junior year. Is it possible for me to come to NYU if not I will try to work hard and get good gpa score and try to get better score on SAT.

idk if they still put a lot of emphasis on SAT scores if you already did a year of CC, but if they do 820 is a really low score, so maybe either try to take the ACT or just try to study/take practice SAT exams to try to raise it, but i would try to do really well in your classes in CC and get a lot of good extra curriculars like volunteer/organizational work
