It takes me 4 hours to get to Miami from Homestead.

Depending on the day and time of day. For commuting purposes during normal work hours of 9-5, yes you’re right… my clients have told me stories of taking that long 👎🏽🫠 safe travels

Homestead years ago was a military town not the reserve base that is there now . Also it was a simple inexpensive nice area to live . Now it is prohibitively expensive, most from Florida dont have the income to finance such homes . Saddens me to see what this area has become.

Yes it was so affordable just 5 years ago, I was selling entry level home for $250,000. Now you in that same price range your only options are Condos and mobile homes. But let's be honest, it's a very complex issue, yes demand is a big factor. The biggest problem is inflation, the US dollar is loosing it's purchasing power, and in the last 100 years it's lost 98% of it's value, so it is not necessarily that Homes are worth more, it's just the dollar is worth less than just 5 years ago.... Yes sir they are, I’d like to be able to say that some places are better than others but if there’s a pond… even man made. You’re better off playing it safe!
