Thanks Anastasia for this manifestation of affection for Rome and Italy. Your sweetness is precious. I would just like to make some clarifications, if I can. I didn't know that it takes months to solve a problem with the internet. I don't live in Rome, but if I have a problem with the internet, I contact the assistance and, first of all, they try to solve the problem during the call. If it is not possible, a technician could come, but in few days. In the Italian Post Office many types of operations are made. You can open a current account or choose new companies for gas and electricity, for example. If the queue is undisciplined it's not a problem. You have to take a number at the entrance and nobody will pass you by. I am struck by the fact that it is not possible to make friends with the Italians 😮. If you try to be part of the community and speak just 3 words of Italian, not only will you make friends, but You will be invited to their home every day, especially If you are in the center-south of the Country. It is probably the fact of living in a great chaotic city like Rome that leads to some excesses. In small towns everything is usually different. This for what I have experienced, then, I understand that everyone has different experiences. Thanks Anastasia. I Will follow you.

Noi italiani amiamo esternare i nostri sentimenti, ma c'è molta differenza anche tra di noi e tra i luoghi. Io sono piemontese e sono sicuramente diversa da una toscana, romana o calabrese. Al nord siamo meno espansivi esteriormente. Gli americani sono in genere molto più trattenuti e bigotti

calculate that italy's culture changes a lot from north to south and it also changes between northeast and northwest, generally in the north we tend to be more reserved and less physical contact :-) I remember once in naples that in a bus a gentleman told me all about him and his family and yet I didn't even know him but I was just sitting in front of him, something that would hardly happen to me (it's not that it's bad or good but it's just different habits and it was already a cultural shock for me lol)

Thank you for your honest opinion about living in Italy. I have to say my experience during my time in Italy is that people definitely do not like to queue at bus stops. They like to push you out of the way. Do Italians have manners as I do not seem to have found anyone I have come across who is really over polite. Everyone talks about the bureaucracy, I believe it sucks! Which is such a.shame. Italy lacks good polite customer service, unfortunately.The food and the lifestyle are wonderful, though and of course the weather. The men I have come across but I can't speak for all Italian men can also be disrespectful. Difficult to adjust to living in Italy. However, this would not stop me from considering a move to Italy. You can always move if it's not for you. Have fun 😊

Forse la nostra Italia per voi è bella perché siete nati in un paese più moderno, per noi invece è triste perché ne vediamo il decadentismo che porta al disinteresse.
