I am genuinely so jealous. I'm almost 21 and I'm still saving to try and buy one and this girl, a very nice 19 year old, is lucky enough to have a very generous collector for a dad. I'm sure she'll take good care of it and I just hope I find one before they're all bought up.

I'm 31. I was in high school when I remember Smallville and Supernatural running back to back. I remember watching the pilot episode and being instantly hooked. It's amazing seeing all these younger people enjoying the series like I did.

In 1977 my dad bought a 67 impala for my high school senior year. It was just a used car back then but it was fast. Like you said it drives like a boat. I love my Chevy impala and put an 8 track stereo. Beach boy music while cruising in Duluth Minnesota.

This reminds me of that one episode where Sam and Dean had to find the villain of the the week, and the location just so happened to be in a convention for the in-universe equivalent to Supernatural. So I just have this memory engrained of Sam and Dean pulling up and finding tens of Impalas that look identical

@@ScottCStclair I think the Impala or Caprice Sport Sedan is especially rare in this area, because nobody wanted them in the 80s and 90s. 'More-doors" were used for demolition derby, or they just yanked engines and transmissions for Camaros, Chevelles, etc. and scrapped the rest 😢

I’ve always loved vintage cars, my dad was into vintage caddy’s, but I am obsessed with the Impala. I think it’s the sexiest car, I love the lines, that grill and especially the rumble, growling engine. I do wonder if they all sound like that, or if Baby has modifications.

This is cool but so sad. She doesn’t really seem to know...anything about cars. “Can’t do a u turn because it’s a boat”. Pretty sure you can, you probably just get scared by the way the car rolls to one side and probably the noises it probably makes. Also why does it sound like the car isn’t really in good shape? Are you just focusing on buying kit for the trunk and not at all on restoration?

Courtney is so cool, love all the little details on the car and that she plays proper music from the casette, and especially that she uses the OG KAZ plate. Watched SN since the pilot when I was a teenager and I am so so jealous, but happy for her, because she really is a proper fan! This baby will only be a lifelong dream for me since I'm in Europe, but fingers crossed at some point in time I'll be able to check out one these replicas in person. 67 4 doors are gonna be about the only model thats gonna be hard to find for collectors later on. Most car people want a 2 door but due to them crashing so many of these during production of the show leaving more 2 doors out in the wild.

I got into Supernatural from watching X-Files, saw a preview for the premire Supernatural so I followed the show since the beginning, so sad its ended but it was a very good run. I live in the Chicago suburbs, will have to figure out how to get to one of these to see the Impala. Never seen a 67 in person. I didn't realize how difficult it is to locate one, been also looking for a 70s R/T Charger. I recently got an 18 Challenger SXT since it resembles the 60s/70s look which is awesome. It's as close to the 67 Impala that I'll get for awhile. Need to locate some junkyards to get a project Charger or if I can find the 67 Impala even if it is 2 door the basic car is the same really, but its amazing how ridiculously close this Impala is to the show. I am amazed at the detail.

Now i feel old I was 17 when the show started in 2005 been watching it ever since. I found a web site that sells Supernatural weapons Otaku Ninja Hero. They sell lots of different replica weapons from different shows + anime. For Supernatural they sell the angel blade, the first blade, the impala blade, rubys blade and the colt gun that comes in a case with several bullets replica only doesn't fire lol. I want to get them all :).

wow, power seats? the cars my family had back during that time were always manual. Always a challenge to move that big old bench seat. My grandfather had a Pontiac dealership so we were around this vintage growing up. I used to drive a '71 Pontiac LeMans. Only a few years younger. Gotta love the manual steering a brakes on a V8.

It's because her car most likely used to be a Chevrolet Caprice Classic that was converted to an Impala for the purposes of making a Supernatural car. The Caprice Classic was basically the same body style as the Impala however it had more luxuries and amenities than the Impala.

I had my 67 Impala in 1975, I beat you by almost 50 years. But that was way back before Sam and Dean, and the actors who portray them were ever born. Mine was navy blue, that's the only difference, and it was stock, not all the bells and whistles that your Baby replica has.
