I bought a 335i back in the summer. 140,000kms or about 90,000 miles pretty low for an 09 and that’s why my charge pipe blew up doing a pull (fully stock at the time, now I just have bms filters and res delete) Aside from that it’s been great 👍

I bought my 08 back in 2016 with 140kmiles. I've documented all maintenance, labor (when necessary), performance mods, and cosmetic cost. despite what the video says, I cheaped out everywhere i could (lots of ebay). with that said, here's my cost breakdown after labor and taxes: exterior (Body mods): $3260, interior $998, performance mods: $1560, Maintenec $4070, 17T turbo with install and tune: $2490 total: about $12500

I just picked up my 2010 135is with M Sport suspension back in Oct 2023. It's been a blast so far! Bought it with 146k, it's now at 151k, still on the stock twins/Fmic/inlets and outlets but otherwise almost full bolt on. I've got a video running a GSXR 600 on my page. Check it out if you don't mind, more racing vids to come. Picking up some C5 Z06 wheels with NT555rs for the rear tomorrow, I hope they'll fit lmfao. 10.5" with 275 tires.

@@3thurty5is I do appreciate it! Just picked up some C5 Z06 wheels with some Nitto nt555r's 275's instead of the 215 wide tires that are on it now haha, for the rear. Also picked up an insta360 cam, waiting for the car mount to get here Thursday! More videos to come soon. Just ran another group of bikes tonight, I assume they were 600s/750s because 1 got out on me by a few cars and the other one couldn't come around me before I shut it down at 135-140.

uh huh... i would recommend Bremmen aluminum VC over the BMW plastic one... there's also mods that cover maintenance too.. IE the Bremmen aluminum cover, the B58 coil conversion, a CSF performance radiator. the aluminum overflow tank from Turner.. there is also the turner relocated filter mod that comes with the piece to direct cool air to the filters.

One of the greatest and powerful tunable engines in the world, but as there's always a but its got too too many problems, and once you fix all the problems that it had you drive it for 3 to a week and you'll have the same or worst problems pop up out of nowhere and more money spent for that motor to be repaired, so if you're a mechanic awesome but you'll eventually get tired fixing its never ending problems, now the benefits once you're car is running 100% and its tuned and you modded it up and and everything you get next to what ever and you'll wipp its ass for a couple of rolls but the third roll the car with stop or get on limp mode and you'll have to reset the motor again by restarting your car or hitting it with a computer reset and after you do that you might are able to race again but the you'll need another reset and again once its running right you'll race the new M4 or M3 or what ever and you'll beat it or be right next to it till it goes on limp mode again, now this is a continuing problem with these cars and no matter how great you reset and fix it the plastic cheap parts it has will burn up and you'll need to replace them but it'll be a continuous problem for the rest of your ownership to that car real talk and facts, i'm telling you it'll get better just a little but eventually the same problems till you get an N55 but again those problems persist till you purchase your self a brand new out of the pack BMW what type is up to you but i will sell my BMW any of them before i get to 70 thousand miles sadly and what crazy is the car can run problem free forever that's if you're one of the lucky ones but if not after that 70 or even below like 35 thousand mile mark the car will go crazy on you and you'll need another BMW or continue with the bullshit issues for ever and you might just do that because of the energy and amazing speed you'll get from this car that no car has, that BMW engineering is no joke and you'll instantly figure that out once you purchase a quality BMW N54 with no issues but sadly issues will always come up. So again always by a BMW brand new and sell it after at least 50 thousand miles. Also this guy trying to justify purchasing one and accept it's problems if certain conditions were met is a big problem on its own, my advice is stay away from these car unless you're a mechanic and even that is a pain but you can fix it yourself other than that yea not a good choice and just get a new one because the money you will spend fixing an old one will ad up to damn i should've just gotten a down payment for a new M3 M4 240i Supar or even and M2, so guys Good luck y'all.

Wrong! Plastic parts get brittle because of the heat cycles. They get hot then cool down and hot again and so on and so forth.they get cooked.

Sometimes it's the oil filter cap that isn't tight. I messed up and did full intake I wanted the relocated inlets but I'm going to put the stock air filter back on now it was getting hotter. There is only one option for getting intake on stock 335is twins and that is only relocated or go single turbo.

Even if its high mileage?@@SirtyDanchez
@SirtyDanchez5 ай бұрын
@@rsaaron I mean if you’re really high mileage (like 150k+ miles) and you’re pulling the oil pan to do the gasket I guess you might as well do the rod bearings. I have a 185k mile n54 car and don’t plan on doing the rod bearings. If they fail and I brick a motor I’ll just get another, lower mileage, motor. At that point there’s other stuff that’s starting to wear like rings and valve springs. N54 motors are pretty cheap.
