What it's like to own the best ship in Star Citizen

If you've been watching my videos for any amount of time you know that the Drake Corsair is my favorite ship in Star Citizen. It truly feels like a ship from Star Wars and it compliments my favorite game loop (exploration) perfectly. Even when the RSI Galaxy drops the Corsair will still have a special place in my fleet. We just passed our one year anniversary of flying around the verse together and this is still my go to daily driver.

Same here. C1 feels like home for me, especially because I mostly fly solo or max with a friend. I really like the Corsair, I bought it in game and it is really a great ship, and it's really fun if you bring friends with you. But I would never upgrade from my C1 :P. Will see how it will be with 3.23 and MM. But C1 it's C1. Looks amazing, flights incredibly good for the size, good cargo, ok weaponry. The only downside are imho, shields, but we'll probably see some improvements there with 3.23. BTW, amazing video Cozy Boy!

Me and my friends love the corsair, it's perfect for doing merc and bunker runs. We all just get together on this one ship. Have a couple transport ground and fury in the back. Between bunkers we were attack by a player in a heavy fighter. imagine his shock to see all turrets active and a fury about to take off in the back. Tho the turrets killed him before the fury actually launched but it was still cool.

I owned one and melted it for the f8c for a few reasons 1)usually run solo so not always able to crew it 2)future proofing for the eventuality of the 1st point, running a corsair alone with the prospect of upcoming features seems daunting 3) It's shining feature is it's DPS even solo but getting to that target, well it wastes time being heavy and thick. 4)Not exactly a cargo runner as even freelancer max carries more than it and if you know anything from a connie taurus and below, cargo running is basically RP at that point. IT was by far the most difficult choice i had to make though, probably the best drake ship created so far has so many endearing features, personal rooms , decent cargo bay(can fit 4 furies in it if you wish), little flask hidden by the kitchen so you can quench your thirst and probably the best feature a toilet located so you can take a dump and watch people eating at the table. Its quite possibly the best exploration ship in the entire lineup but i had to choose practicality over function.

This is the millennium falcon of star citizen to me, its the first ship i plan on buying, it has plenty interior room and decent storage, dosent handle the best but its quick and can probably still pull off some stuff, and has a shit ton of firepower. And oh my god im addicted to its looks.

BEST might be a stretch, but... Yeah, I've fallen in love with the Corsair. mine is dressed up in red and black, with Deadbolts all round and distortions on the turrets. We use it for... exploration. I was a big time corsair hater, but after changing some settings, settling in to learn it, and a few good stories of my own, it's firmly replaced the constellation and 600i as my go to... "exploration" ship. And it's damn good for exploring places other than other peoples cargo bay, too!

Mine is my serenity. The most important thing about a ship? Love. Can know all the math in the 'verse but take a boat in the air that you don't love? She'll shake you off just as sure as a turn in the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down...tell you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens...makes her a home.

Cutty Black remains the best multi crew ship in the game. Flies amazingly, offensively great for its size and price point, can do pretty well anything outside of the specialist professions and even now has a cargo tractor beam. But, the Corsair is a fantastic ship that’s really grown on me since its original outing with horrible handling in atmosphere that meant I got destroyed doing an MRT because the thing was so sluggish it couldn’t even turn well enough to hit anything.
