@Prepetually Confused even though I didn't see any episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood yet since my mom grew up with that show and I always get emotional and sentimental watching Mister Rogers Neighborhood since I grew attached to that show just like my mom did!! Now when I was little I also grew up with Bear in the Big Blue House and Bear was and is still my Mister Rogers in his own way and since I love a show my mom grew up with, my mom loves Bear in the Big Blue House which is a show I grew up with!!! I think me and my mom will always prefer Bear in the Big Blue House and Mister Rogers Neighborhood over Barney & Friends. Even though I grew up with Barney & Friends as well I don't really like Barney anymore since he's creepy and because of Barney conspiracy theories and parodies.

Fun Fact: For the last episode they wrote in season two or three (I believe three), they did not know at the time if the show would be renewed or not. My daughter fell in LOVE with Bear whom she always called 'B' since she couldn't say Bear. She still has all her stuffed animals and and even some blankets. She had to have her 'B' wherever we went. She's now almost 15 and she still loves her 'B'. Today, she is all emotional as she shows me this video. Thank you Noel MacNeal for making my daughter so happy as a toddler. She also says thank you for making her childhood a very happy one with 'B'.

@Kiera -Midnight i'm 15 years old and I was born in 2005 and Bear in the Big Blue House is still one of my favorite childhood shows to this day!!!! Even though I never had any plushes or blankets from Bear in the Big Blue House I was lucky I was still able to watch it on TV and watch the Bear in the Big Blue House DVD that I had growing up which I hope I still have in my house today. It's so cute that your daughter called him 'B' even though I was already able to say Bear at my incredibly young age since my first word was dog and not a lot of kids can say three or four lettered words yet. I love how your daughter still has the plushes and the blankets from the show and I feel like I would be great friends with your daughter since we have one favorite childhood show that we both love and cherish to this day! I'm also still very thankful for Noel MacNeal for bringing such a beloved character like Bear to life and for children (now adults, young adults, and teenagers today) who grew up with this amazing show can still watch the epsiodes on KZbin and cherish those memories again since I love watching stuff from my childhood today and recently as well. So thank you so much for this beautiful comment, god bless you and your daughter!!!!😭❤💗💖

"The kids networks right now, aint gonna do that" when Noel said this, it saddens me. For me, what kids nowadays should really have for their entertainment are the shows that show fun through stories, authentic care between other characters, morals, songs, and life lessons. I think these are the things that lacks from kids shows nowadays. This is so nostalgic, brings back good memories!

What's worse, Mattel bought Thomas and took away everything that made it the only show of its kind and now they're just copying every other generic preschool show. What especially makes this appalling is that they did exactly what the original creator was against, yet the general public decided to take Mattel's side and some have the nerve to call older fans crybabies when the whole point of Thomas in the first place was to not talk down to little kids.

OMG Noel! THANK YOU! Just today my adult son (21) with high functioning Autism....brought me a clip of Bear in the Big Blue House....crying. It made me sad, until he told me they were happy tears, because Bear is one of his happiest childhood memories! 💖💖🌞😭 Incidentally, his dream is do voiceover work for cartoons! 💖💖 Tristan is a natural Mimic with imagination to spare, and any advice would be amazing! THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF OUR FAMILY, AND MY SWEET SONS CHILDHOOD! 💖💖

I grew up watching the show, and I've always loved watching this show. And now I'm a mom of 3, and my kids love Bear in the big blue house. They love the music, and just everything else about it. 2 of my kids are autistic, and they get excited when they see bear. And they all dance when Bear and all the characters sing. And all 3 of them are just so interested in this show. And I love that. This is an amazing show. And the fact that you are trying to make another show for autistic kids and other children with with special needs is amazing. Thank you for being Bear. Seeing my kids laugh, sing along to the songs and dance, is such a beautiful thing to see.

I absolutely loved this show when I was a kid. I got really excited to watch it. He's so right, it was gentle, nothing nasty in it. When I have kids I'm gonna show them all the old TV programmes like this, they're just such good-natured shows unlike the ones today. The older stuff was so much more better and happier.

This is the show I put on for my daughter (10 months old) every single morning and it keeps her so calm and happy while I get ready-otherwise she’s screaming since I am running all around and have to leave the room which she hates since she doesn’t like being alone. Bear is clearly comforting her just like he used to do for me. When I saw this show on Disney plus, I literally yelled “OH MY GOD BEAAAAARRRRR!” And now just hearing the first into stings to the song, my daughter looks at the screen and yells out of excitement and just laughs and laughs. We love you Bear. Thank you Noel for making MY childhood AND now my daughter’s! ❤️ I plan on showing my girl really only older shows like this since no, the shows today truly DONT care about kids and their actual needs and creating tiny good humans! ❤

I worked as daycare helper when I was 18 in 1999 and became aware of this show via that job , I then went on to get a masters in psychology and child development… this show was beautifully simplistic and put together well , the simplicity is what drew my daughter to it , she was born in 2015 but she’s severely autistic and absolutely enjoys the comfort this show provides , I was happy to have known about it to reference into our lives now … these are the wonderful parts of early childhood memories this show helps to develop, my daughter is 8 and still loves to interact with the characters in her own non verbal way . I am absolutely greatful to the creator and the cast of people who made this show possible .

The nostalgia shot, man... randomly saw a meme today with this little blue mouse and I said to myself "wait a minute, is that the lil mouse from the Big Blue House?" so I went to google his name and saw him with that iconic bear costume and memories of the episodes I had watched as a kid came rushing back. 21 today, watched that show when I was 5-6, and I remember how happy seeing Bear made me. It's such a sweet, warm little show with loveable characters, and not one did I love more than that big beautiful bear, how realistically he moved and sniffed the camera like the family dog, how loving he was of everyone in the house... Thanks, Insider, gave me a little shot of nostalgia. I kinda want to watch some of this show even as a grown-up.

I hope his show goes through. My friend's kids have sensory issues and both my boyfriend and best friend are autistic. The world needs shows catered to those sorts of audiences. Bear in the Big Blue House was something that really got my attention as a kid. I loved puppet shows for some reason. And even now, seeing Bear sniffing the camera gets me giddy and it always made me feel good as a kid, and so when I hug my friends, I'm always compelled to tell them how nice they smell and they usually appreciate it.

I used to watch this ALL the time as a kid. Absolutely loved it. Nearly 20 years later... Now, I have a three month old baby girl that I'm introducing Bear to, and she absolutely loves the colours and soft atmosphere that the Blue House provides. It's an amazing little trip down memory lane. I actually searched up the "Behind the Scenes" on YT and I was actually fascinated with how the puppeteer made Bear so lifelike. Fantastic job, mate. You'll be making many generations happy for years to come!
