Hi, may i get some advice from you if it's possible? i'm an ibdp's student and if i'm not wrong, i don't need to have a foundation year or entrance exam to get into German university. But I'm worried about language barrier and less opportunities , like courses are limited (i'm studying for bachelor) and more (i also heard english taught programs are more competitive) So i'm having trouble deciding whetever if i should take foundation year or smth like that or just study in english-taught programmes with just A2 dutch proficiency

TUM is not the #1 university in Europe. Quite a few universities in the UK, Switzerland, and France outrank them to varying degrees, depending on the ranking website you use.

It's the best university in the European Union. Depending on the field and ranking some might be better like HEC Paris, SciencesPo, Insead, École polytechnique, Université PSL, TU Delft, Lund university, Bocconi. UK and Switzerland are obviously not part of the EU. But when you say the best of whole Europe it's Oxford/Camebridge and the best of mainland Europe it's ETH Zurich.
