In this episode of What Do You Do Emma takes us behind the scenes of managing the care for the Animals on the Red River Exhibition grounds. She takes care of goats, sheep, cows, donkeys, and so many more. At the time of filming, she was preparing for the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg, an annual fair, where the animals will be on full display in the hopes of helping promote good welfare for farm animals.
Working with animals can be such a rewarding profession, but it can also be a difficult field to get into depending on your path. Make sure to do your research into where you can go to school and your requirement so you can start down the right path. Emma took this position as a stepping stone toward Veterinarian school, and shortly after filming this episode, she was accepted.
