I'm pretty sure her name is Amélie (it's of French origin I think, being a French girl myself I do know it is a common given name here), but her joyous attitude proves that ballerinas can have fun as well, and that ballet isn't always about being taught by rude teachers, having to do sacrifices all the time and suffer every day.

i own a dog rescue, and usually have on dog TV on the big screen during rest time.. But , since I found Eva and then MBA, my dogs watch ballet now. They recognize voices and live the music When voices pop in , they’ve never heard, like this vlog today? they look at me like?? excuse me.. who has come into our ballet house?

start looking for a blog or something related to the school online.. Maybe the school can give you a few chat blogs, or YT channels of student’s,,and you can make a friend or 2 before. There has to be a list of where all new students are coming from, see if you can get that list, and find someone close to your area know that are heading there too. You and even hustle 1 friend can really help one another. if you get assistance from the school before hand maybe through ballet classes or ballet school you and your also new student can secure a few locals .. Maybe your parents will pay Evan to be your proctor and to get you and your new student friend, acclimated there . an international move with a foreign language isn’t exactly like moving down the street. you have 2 months to slay a perfect plan, flying in hopefully with your new student friend and Eva your chaperone/ chaos calmer. You can all feel safe , secure and ready to take on Germany and find all the fun places to eat, take classes, best coffee shops and make community friends., Tell your parents you want to feel safe , and comfortable so you can be your best self! I studied abroad and went with a group we all met about 8 weeks before. we took conversational language basics together on weekends , packing classes, learned about each country and their customs. Do’s and don’t s. how to secure valuables. where American consulates were. Areas to avoid. how to speak with police, what number to call in each country for emergencies. what to do if you are sick.. etc. I would personally call the school and ask if there is a sophomore or junior who has signed up to show new girls around . There should be a group? but what do I know. Id see if you could go a few days earlier with your other new student friend and get familiar with everything so when school starts you are already acclimated. no jet lag etc.. That is what i would do for my daughter , any of my students, friends. I def. vote Eva , bc she is well traveled, older than you guys, and always has your back. She will save your parents the fear and uncertainty.. Nothing better than a big sister getting you settled. i know everyone lives their parents, but the feel embarrassing often to many teens during this natural stage of individuation . You can really be yourself and meet up with peers authentically and not feeling awkward .. Sawyer I’m rooting for you to have the best experience and hope the newness is made easier by the plans you can put into place before you go.. All the best to you in all your future endeavors.

It's so nice to see ballet dancers being both extremely skilled and graceful, and moments later they're the biggest goofballs on the planet XD Also love seeing that they're eating, and not just eating salads but actual food and snacks, including stuff that's considered "unhealthy" it's such a refreshing breeze seeing how ballet is known to be strict and sadly plagued by ED with so many dancers just not eating enough calories. Having seen some "what I eat in a day" from professional ballerinas, it's just sad at times as it looks like they're not getting enough calories to cover for their very physically demanding job. It's just so refreshing to see the dancers at MBA not being afraid of food and calories, they all look so healthy, happy and well cared for

i have a little coinpurse similar to Tova's!! its a Sansha shoe (from the Opéra de Paris gift shop but they dont make them anymore, now they have ugly bright pink/blue fake leather pointe shoe keychains) they also make tiny pointe keychains but these ones r sold at the Orsay museum shop also mango n chili is a combo i love sm since ive had mango with chili/salt&pepper in vietnam a few years ago i think in dorito form it sounds kinda gross but tbh id be willing to try just to see edit: again i love seeing more of Amelie on the channel, its always a fun surprise that links back to my studies n my appreciation for yves klein's work, so seeing his family's legacy live on is so so precious 💫💫

Do the parents of these dance kids sign permission forms to allow their children to appear your videos? I love your blogs. I’m surprised, though, that the students, instructors, and parents don’t find your presence in classes, rehearsals, and private lessons intrusive and a distraction. How do you get away with it? It’s great for us to get such a close look at the lives -of ballet students, but is it great for them? I think it’s awesome that you give the students classes in social media!
