You and the band had several 3.5 hour drives. If it adds anything, my girlfriend and I drove - you guessed it - 3.5 hours to the Troubadour show last night (and back). It's a big place, this thing we call the US. Loved the show, band killed it. We were just off your right shoulder a couple people back from the stage. Hope your rise continues and we'll see you the next time around.

@@alexo5861 good call! Traffic is a b*tch in LA. Actually, we're in Paso Robles, which is 3.5 hours without traffic. Our journey down actually took 7 hours between traffic and two other stops, and almost 4 hours to get back home as we hit traffic going up 5 through the grapevine. This, at 11pm at night....

Here's a cool story for ya, I flew to nashville on my own to go to the show, have a friend who lives there so I spent the weekend in the city waiting for monday. My entire life I've been looking for the right ES-355. I've played hundreds of them and never found one that I had to have or one that wasn't $10,000. Well I went to Carter Vintage where you guys did the acoustic session and finally found the correct ES. and it might be one of the red ones behind you. I can't tell. Either way. I finally have my bucketlist guitar, and my friend and I loved the show Monday, he had never heard of you guys but he was blown away and is now a fan. Hope to catch you guys in the states again somewhere.

Maybe some day very soon, they'll get Cardinal Black over to do a Tinydesk concert?

Absolutely delighted for you and the band, Chris. This is so so so well deserved! I can only imagine the cognitive dissonance playing the (FLIPPIN') Troubadour will inevitably bring so, as much as you can, stand on that stage and focus all your senses on both the experience of being there - your emotions, what it looks like, the smells, the feel etc - and that the decisions and the hard work you've put in over the years that have brought you to this tour. Hopefully this'll act as "sticking a flag" in your memory for just one of the many high points of this tour. I'm over the moon for you mate, so go at let rip in LA and show everyone there what a searingly good guitarist and songwriter you are😎👊🥰🎸
