Actually that is a common misconception as there are hoops that we use at our lawn bowls club for croquet that barely leave a trace. Also, once a person learns how to hit a jump shot properly, court damage is typically a rare occurrence and is easily repaired. For social croquet play, a lawn can be divided into two halves so that 16 people can play at a time. More importantly, it is the annual membership dues that will enhance the club, not the actual number of players who play each day. Wishing you all the very best in 2022.

This particular bowling club has 4 greens, one is an oversized green that cost tens of thousands to add on, in order for croquet players to play on 2 “international standard sized courts”. 16 people surely isn’t as many as 64. Clubs have to be smart about what they allow to happen on these pristine surfaces, without them, the club is null. All the best Cheryl!

You could also add regulation croquet as it uses the same greens and you would double your income

Causes irreparable damage to the turf with the use of hoops and jump shots. Also in my opinion croquet can only get on about 1 tenth the amount of people on a green compared to bowls.
