Becki this was great! Thanks for putting so much effort into this idea. I do a lot of upcycled diy projects and have been thinking about making a channel. I currently shoot photo on the A7III, but unfortunately I don't have a Chris for b-roll if I wanted to jump into video. I'll try and make it happen anyway. Thanks for the motivation

it’s worth the effort. seeing it happen, rather than just the end result, it’s very satisfying. FYI: your build is far more interesting than MKBHDs 😱😎. Not that it’s a competition, but: you’re winning, hehe

You can look at this as painful but at the same time, this is a test for being a passionate creator. Better videos are made with more effort and patience, so this whole process is understandable.

This video gave me a new level of respect for the amount of work you put into making videos. This makes me feel better about my projects. I rarely correctly estimate what it takes to film an activity. The activity trumps the documentation, so I end up needing to bail on filming. Not only was this a very entertaining and instructive video, I am very glad I watched it until the very end because I was also one who misunderstood the "went on a date" comment. I was already assuming it was with a friend and not another guy. Still, I am also in the process of planning my basement studio setup. So I have watched many of your videos on finding your own style, lighting, depth-of-field vs. lenses, etc. I'm not planning much for YT. Rather, I'm creating courses for my own future online academy. Keep up the great (and very interesting) work!
