I know you’re just getting started but this is already so cool and close to home for me. I grew up in the southern Adirondacks and did my first flying there in Civil Air Patrol as a teen (at KGFL). Fort Ticonderoga was a favorite family field trip. Took my first glider flight in Franconia Notch, NH. Many vacations in coastal Maine. Really looking forward to the series!

Great start! I love the technical tidbits you give throughout your series, going through the motions of calculating weight and how important it is. We take it for granted as flyers even on an airplane weight is always a factor.
