Hello guys, as a player who last year was hard stuck in ancient bracket and now im rank 3k ( right now about 6700 MMR), I will tell you how i boosted myself. First of all i watched a lot of videos like this, mostly from Game Leap and Jenkins. I realized that i lack of map awareness and common sense when to go back , when to fight, when to farm, itemization about each game and counter picks. As ex core player ( i used to play only mid or carry) now I`m playing mainly support role. Recently i dropped 600 MMR in 2 days since the Marci`s patch. From playing with players rank 1-2 k I was matched with Divine players. As example of how bad the Divine players i can tell you what happened in a game where i was playing position 3 (offlane). My support (pos 4) didn`t bought a sentry to block or unblock sidecamp, so during the whole laning stage their lane was under their tower, I coudn`t last hit, i was behind with the levels, because my pos 4 was leeching exp and not harrasing their carry and etc. Funny, but my support (the Divine 4 guy) told me that i bought my acc and i suck, when ironically he didn`t knew what`s happening at all :D. You need all these things i mentioned above to be better player. I will give you example of mine game before 2 days, where i played mid, I was crushing with qop and i was 12/0. I dived in hteir base, died without buyback and they beat us... so the patiance is also an important thing.

I'am on my 10 winstreak with IO because now i understand how to stay with strong heroes and make them even more stronger . Earlier i use to feel guilty if i was not able to save someone but now i undestand that you cant save everyone for there stupidity and also please mute everyone before the match starts . it helps a lot good luck . im immortal and 90% of us 6ks can watch this or any other video and learn from it. its far too easy to blame your support in lane while you didnt give your items a single thought, nothing magically changes when you hit your desired rank and your teammates will always seem trash so please criticize your own replays/plays as you would a streamer etc

but you do have to last hit better, at the end they all know how to get out of divine, i dont know who is the best at teaching low mmr players though, i have a feeling khexu is the guy to go when u already has reached immortal or high divine. But you can learn from both of them and even others.

@@Raphael.P. the concept itself does not take a lot of time to understand. However a 10 min video that would show you how to last hit in a lot of scenarios would seem very helpful to me. (when to drop you quelling blade, how many tower hits you should wait before you last hit, agrocontrol,etc). Divine 5 btw

Basically, get good with your Macro and be confident with your role and "Master" at least 5 Hero's then you are good to go. Versatility is good and all what but what's the point if you don't know what you are doing.

The tips work, keeping an objective-based mindset (tower, roshan, force an advantageous fight etc) and being aware of the strengths and weaknesses of your hero definitely allows you to shoot up, even if the odd bad teammate will throw a game every now and again. Just stay focused on your own gameplay and how you can improve it. Your comment immediately tells me that you're not concentrating on your play, only on when your teammates play badly. Switch your mindset to focus ONLY on what YOU are doing, and you'll improve massively - then MMR will follow I shot up from Crusader 2 to Legend 4 so far, and still climbing. You can do it!

Dude worked so hard to reach immortal as pos5 - 4 player until a grandmaster Tinker ruin it by feeding mid to a Arc warden, we never gonna reach immortal unless gaben bans all account buyers I'm so tilted that higher tiers are filled with herald buyers

As an immortal player.. Trust me, those acc buyers or griefers will always be there.... But those aren't the factors that stop you for being an immortal player.. Its about ur mindset/attitude towards game like this, whether u want to try and win those unwinnable games.... In the highest level of dota, its all about which teammates gets tilted or triggered first, cause no matter how high ur mechanic/strategy is.. When u can't think properly u will eventually lose the game.. Cause ure not playing anymore

meh, even if you follow this guide from start to finish, it still depends on the people playing with you. i actually stopped playing for a month now, gave up on the dream lel. i was literally one game away from immortal, the next few games that followed were a series of winnable games, fell short because some would intentionally feed and ruin games; abandoning teammates is another factor. basically, no matter how godly you play, you can never win a game against 5 people.

just not true, so why are some pro players 11k mmr and some people like you are stuck in lower MMR? Is it because we get lucky more often than you? No, it's simply because we can win games that people below us, cannot. The only reason you go up in MMR, is because you outskill other people, and youre able to win games that other people can't. Do you know how I achieved Rank 1, or how someone achieves rank 1? You only get Rank 1, if you're able to win games, THAT NOBODY ELSE CAN. The difference between winning a game or losing this specific game is 60 MMR. If you are the difference, or you help persuade this winchance, just sometimes, and you manage to do this in 10 games out of 500, that is a 600 MMR swing. Let that sink in, dont always blame your teammates or take the easy way out.
