Well that looks like more than a couple hundred feet! I hike up 500 feet mountain every day, and in spring under full pack to prep for the big climbs in the summer, but those steps look agonizing! Just a constant up, which I guess is different. I'd probably try and run up them... well try ;)

I can relate. Last Sunday I did my first flight off Torrey and landed on the “X” marked on the sand. It took me three stops to make it up. But that first flight was worth the pain. 4-5 more beach landings and I might get P-1 or die trying.
