Thinking about going to L.A. for a month, but didn't know was it as bad as portrait in the media, i.e. need to show vacine card to eat at restaurants and go into businesses in LA. is it as bad as the news report or should I be good. Anything you can tell me is a bonus.

@@kingvadervlog8280 I’ve noticed that a lot of indoor restaurants require vaccine cards. But there are so many places out here that have outdoor seating since it’s always nice. You should really be good! There’s so many other great things about LA. After 2 years though I’m about ready to keep it pushing lol

You have a great perspective. I lived in LA briefly for a summer internship and I completely agree with what you said. I currently live in Austin and how you feel about living in LA, is exactly how I feel about living in Austin. It’s a great place for people who work in tech or real estate but not affordable for people outside those careers that don’t make a big salary.

This is so good to know! I just started working in tech recently and I’ve been wanting to visit Austin😊 do you like it so far??
@AK013182 жыл бұрын
@@ellyceTo be honest, I liked it more 5-6 years ago, than I do now. The city is going through a lot of gentrification, political issues, growing pains from the influx of people moving here, and losing a lot of its historical/cultural appeal. Having said that, I hope that doesn't deter you from visiting. There are plenty of beautiful hiking trails and lakes where you can go kayaking/fishing, etc if you love the water. Lake Travis is very popular. The Rowing Dock is super popular, as well. You should definitely plan a trip to visit down here, if you're considering a move. The traffic here is crazy. But if you can handle LA traffic, then Austin's may not be so bad for you. Hope that helps you! 😊😊

I found that having a motorcycle so you can split lanes or even just a bicycle to get around in L.A. can be a life saver...

Maybe I need to invest in a bike 🤔 not a motorcycle though lol too dangerous for me

Not gonna lie, it’s not easy out here. The only new friends I’ve made that I didn’t already know from college were from a church I found out here!
