It absolutely infuriates me how JS didn't mention the tools! I already was infuriated by the fact that she never said anything more to the police than absolutely necessary. Not even that much, really. She completely protected SS and herself over Maddie and it's sick! She had all those interviews and all that time to think up all sorts of things that were "off" about that night and SS + Maddie and his relationship with her... and she said NOTHING! Not even like, "now that I think about it, he did call her a little too much and seemed abnormally close with her". Nope, nada. The frustration I feel for this case and Maddie makes me cry. 😭 To think that I thought people were just being too nit picky about JS. At least until she opened her mouth...

That is confusing to me too. The other roommate swore Maddie slept in her own room. The translator knows little Spanish, just enough to translate the bare minimum. He uses words that don't match and also inserts words that the investigator didn't say when he tries to explain when he doesn't know the proper word. So far, nothing that would make a big difference, just that the investigator will miss all the nuances.

Installing or removing cameras is my guess. The laundry was covering up the stuff he took to the dumpster or his car. if there were cameras removed that were screwed down, the place where they were would have left holes. Hey G hey guys, just catching up, at the start but wanted to say it's just entered my head, jen has made a point of saying rhat she thought that stephan came down once maybe to use the toilet, but there are 2 things I feel are wrong with this, firstly, everyone including Jen says that once she has her medication that even world war 3 couldn't wake her, yet, Jen is very much aware that stephan came down stairs for the toilet at least once, how the hell would she know that, and I believe tbe reason they have needed to add the part about stephan going downstairs at least once was to maybe cover as if any of the roommates was to hear anyone coming up or down, it could be put down to stephan using the bathroom, and but maybe it was to cover for the noise of Jen actually going upstairs, seriously, just that statement itself, shows she is blatently lyimg, because she would be zonked out, she wouldnt or shouldn't know or be aware if stephan came downstairs once or a hundred times??? Food for thought, would like to say, I have been on and off of Jen being aware, but this thoufht has defo pushed me thinking, why would u lie if u have nothing to hide!

Hey, so then if he was already breaking the rules and using the downstairs toilet, why would he have a need to go downstairs, this part does worry me, is that or was that said so that it all added up, if someone else heard anyone coming up or down, I mean better to mention it yourself and have a good excuse for it, than not to say anytnimg, to then find out that a room mate actually heard someone coming up or down, it's starting to really make me feel bad, as at first I was thinking that maybe Jen a little slow, but now am thinking the opposite, she is actually extremely sneaky and manipulative, I mean when u really think about it, it wasn't stephan making rhe decisions, she soon had him out when she was ready, and she doesn't seem to be doing too bad herself financially, she mentions they don't have much, but she was able to at least book for botox treatment, so she obviously believed when making the appointment that she had the money for it, what with all their personal pleasures, it certainly makes u ask yourself, where the hell was all the money coming from?? They are conducting an interview and the sergeant is giving some info to the detective and is not doing a word for word translation. There will be an official transcript made with a sworn interpreter.
