@timtwing58862 күн бұрын
Exactly!! Cause mahome boy is the NFLs "golden boy"! The thing is mahomes has six touchdowns to eight interceptions! Mahomes has a touchdown per game he's played! That's not good. Even an average quarterback has a few more than that!

Mahomes is already a HOFer with multiple titles. It’s not exactly a relevant comparison to make at this moment.
@timtwing58862 күн бұрын
@@Matt-yq3gqactually it's more relevant than you think! My dad has been watching football for about 5 decades and he said last night that he's never seen a drop off in performance as bad as mahomes! He literally didn't even have a 2-1 TD ratio last year and that's not an elite quarterback performance. He has 6 TDs to 8 INTs across 6 games that's beyond horrible! That's not even average QB stats. Mahomes is absolutely no reason whatsoever for the chiefs being 6-0 it's their defense that has been keeping them in games and honestly very bad calls. The chiefs are lucky to be 6-0 and really shouldn't be. He's bottom tier QB! Yet, no one is talking about this and that's absolutely mind-blowing!
@mattbertrand94962 күн бұрын
@@Matt-yq3gq but even early in his career, mahomes was throwing tons of INTs. Actually reminded of Favre, then. When he threw the ball it was either gonna be great or a tragedy. For a future HOF QB with multiple titles, he’s had a major drop off without a ton of reporting.

Everyone is comparing him to Favre, and the resemblance is definitely there. But there's another QB he reminds me even more of, Matthew Stafford, who in his two best statistical years still threw 16 and 17 picks. I know we got used to the super careful Rodgers for so long with his 4- picks a season, but we probably need to get used to these picks and hope they aren't too painful. But whether he's the next Favre or Stafford, you absolutely can win a Super Bowl with this type of QB.

I actually really like what he said. I feel like part of what capped those Rodgers teams was that Rodgers always took such great care of the ball that it almost later on turned into him not taking these risky high reward throws in favor of those easy completions. Love has shown he’s going to try and break the game open at times and if it works it’ll win us games, if it doesn’t they gonna keep fighting.
@oNextq3 күн бұрын
In some cases with Rodgers it was the hero ball in certain situations trying to force a moment instead of making the right pass that hurt him. Like his last pass as a packer. Sometimes those lead to an int or just an incompletion that still hurt or ended the drive that the team needed.

How he is playing now is exactly how our season ended last year. Taking too many risks is not sustainable in the NFL… look at Jameis Winston in TB. Jordan is a freaking BALLER, but one pick on Sunday was into a double covered 5 yard hitch… not all INTs are unlucky big shot risks. Some are bad decisions
@tangyboi64202 күн бұрын
The only way to Love to actually make better decisions is to learn from those aggressive throws and improve. You have to have trial by fire. If he's too cautious he loses that magic of playing out of your head and balling. Winners don't back down. Every mistake he makes or almost mistake improves that brain muscle memory. He just needs to erase a few simple mistakes like chuckin' down the field but you can't have those tight window throws without them sometimes being picked.

A very interesting Analogy, Jordan's explanation of what he's trying to do as opposed to it's occasional outcome is understandable, yet at the same time frustrating. What also should be understood is unlike Maholmes, Love plays in a Division with Lethal Sharks such as Lions and Vikings who will make you pay dearly for said errors like interception's!!!! So Granted I am for letting Love learn and prosper from his mistakes, yet at what PRICE??!! At some point they may come at a time when there's no time for the proper adjustment!!!!
@davidtrepanier42112 күн бұрын
Second year as a starter, and he said he will learn from his mistakes so... The difference between Favre and Rodgers was come from behind wins. Favre had it Rodgers other than hailmarys did not. I think Love will be more like Favre in crunch time...possibly better.

It’s hilarious to me that the fans that roasted Rodgers for every decision his last couple years in GB, now give Love a pass because well you just have to be aggressive and take risks to win. No. That’s not the case, those first two interceptions weren’t throwing into a small window, that’s what Rodgers did but he was accurate enough to put it where only his guy could get it, and he almost always threw it to the correct area dictated by the coverage. Those 2 INT’s weren’t being aggressive, they were throwing into double and triple coverage, they were really dumb decisions. We aren’t talking about throwing a 50-50 ball deep to a receiver with 1v1 coverage. It’s pretty obvious that Love makes some poor reads a few times per game and he’s also sloppy with his accuracy as well which is generating the turnovers. The discussion should be the same, which is Love needs to clean this up. He just as easily could have cost GB the game as won it, like he did in the playoffs. I give him credit for having a short memory and not letting it affect him, but unless this gets corrected, it’s going to be an issue. Relying on the defense to not make the play isn’t a good option. You know if you keep putting the ball in harms way even if you get away with it for a while, eventually it will get you in trouble especially in the playoffs against better opponents.

Who cares? He takes risks as athletes should rather than protect his stats. We just had a QB here who would throw safe incompletions during clutch moments seemingly to protect his statistics. Okay so I've made some comments on various videos about how Jordan love is like Brett favre, which he is! I definitely think he has the potential to not be like Brett favre but right now he's acting a little bit too much like him and that's bad! The thing about it is though Jordan love has 15 touchdowns to eight interceptions and Patrick mahomes has eight interceptions as well, but he has six touchdowns! He has a touchdown per game he's played that's ridiculous! That's ridiculously bad!! An average quarterback has two or three more than that at least! Mahomes is one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL right now. He literally is! He wasn't the best quarterback last year and he's at the bottom of the list this year!
@timtwing58862 күн бұрын
It's crazy. We have the quarterback who has the most interceptions in NFL history and we have the quarterback who has the least amount of interceptions in history! The bad part of that it is both these guys want us one ring a piece! Aaron Rodgers better performance (in the regular season) didn't end up getting us any more rings than Brett Farve did! I hated watching both these guys Rogers and farve! Farve Took too many chances and Aaron Rodgers didn't take enough! Honestly Jordan is not as good of a quarterback as Aaron Rodgers yet because Rogers has a much bigger portfolio that we are going off of but starting out I think love has more potential than Rogers! Aaron never took chances and he was all worried about himself throwing pics! He was worried about his stats instead of team accomplishment! This is what made Aaron Rodgers a bad teammate! I don't see that in Jordan. Love. He doesn't care about the interceptions and it doesn't seem to shake him which is a good thing but he needs to throw less! I really do think love has the potential to get the same amount of super bowls as Brett and Aaron have combined if not more! Although if he doesn't clean up his play, it's not going to happen! Course we thought Aaron was going to win more super bowls than Farve because he didn't throw as many pics and took care of the ball, but that didn't end up happening! I like how love takes chances but he needs to do it in a different way than farve but at the same time not be like Aaron Rodgers which he's not!
