Well done, great time. A 23.40 for me today so quite good. Those queues at the finish and for scanning are quite astonishing - well done to all the volunteers and event directors for managing this!

Well done to you too. The entire event is quite an operation!

Ooooooh so close 😁 I had 2 runs last year with the exact same time too. Both are my equal pbs. Looks a great event and very well supported. I’m always intrigued as to how bigger events organise their finish funnels. I’ve not been anywhere that’s been that big but it’s amazing they keep it all flowing like clockwork.

I always find it amazing how we can run for over twenty minutes and yet still hit the same time to the second! The Southampton finish is really well organised. Think they got a few tips from Bushy Park.

Well done Derek 👏 great to see you at the last couple of parkruns, my partner in crime Lorenzo was chuffed to be in your video last week and he got his sub-19 this morning, blasting round in 18.42. All the very best for the PB hunt in future!

Nice one Derek. The glory of Southampton parkrun is the magnificent queues we generate. A phenomena that from the off to the ending of the world shall be remembered; we few, well, quite a few, we band of siblings; for he, she. whoever, who soaked trainers with you Derek, will be the closest of relations; be they ne're so vile, this day will gentle their conditions: and the parkrunners of England then a-bed shall count themselves accursed they were not squelching across the Flats with the other 1,051 this morning.
