[Joe] Our friendship began in high school as classmates. Neither of us even considered to befriend one another, but we gradually warmed up to each other through mutual friends and laughter. Even though we were good friends in school, we didn't build a foundation based on the right ingredients until we were searching and seeking for God's permission in remarriage about a decade later. We previously built our friendship on mischief, laughter, and partying. However, these were all temperamental experiences and memories. Through our quest in beginning our marriage, I found it to be essential for us to be mission-minded on the same eternal goals; on the things that will keep us in love forever.
