Back in the late 90's early 2000's i lived and worked in the same apartment building that Kim Catrall lived in on the upper east side at the height of their series . In fact running into them filming the show was almost a daily occurrence. I have ridden in the elevator with Ms. Cattrall on several occasions, stood on line with her at the local shops and i have to say she was truly, truly lovely. I was only in my early to mid 20's at that time and not only did she acknowledge me each and every time we crossed paths she was genuinely very kind and pleasant. Class act in every sense.

So why get upset with SJP for expressing her condolences the same way? Regardless of thier relationship or lack of, if SJP had given no condolences she would been chewed up still. KC could have conducted herself with class and simply said "thank you" or said nothing at all. KC making her comments started or escalated a controversy that should have been avoided. I mean, what SJP did was common curtesy.

A lot of folks don't realize Sarah was the co-executive producer of the show. So she pocketed the profits from the show. The three other women should have gotten a substantial pay increase. They did get pay increases, but not substantial in comparison to the money the show was making. Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon still butt-kissed SJP in order to keep their jobs, but Kim didn't play that game. Kim was also isolated from the other women bc she was seen as a "troublemaker" by the producers, incl SJP. This hatred continued to build until it blew up in the media years later btw Kim and SJP.

Maybe she saw it as fake and not sincere, that they won’t close & maybe if she had done it private to Kim & would have been better received , when your grieving the last thing you can tolerate is fake people , when your hurting

They were all bullies to her . Treated her like total garbage. Every day for years . If we had known the extent of the abuse, their show would have been thrown in the garbage

Kim, I was always shocked that Parker had the lead in the show. How in the world does that happen? Without being crass I will leave THAT to the imagination. You carry yourself as a Star. You are beautiful inside and out. Grief ebbs and flows. You are loved by many..but more than any other God loves you so very much. ❤
