Jason Randolph Scheff (born April 16, 1962) is an American bassist, singer, and songwriter. From 1985 to 2016, he was the bassist and one of the lead vocalists for the rock band Chicago he is the longest-serving member in the bassist/vocalist position to date.

My gosh, Jason sounds the same as he ever did -- in fact, maybe better. In an interview, Bill Champlin said Jason was always incredibly pitchy when he was with Chicago, and now that he's not with the band anymore, his pitch is perfect. You can sure hear it in this song. His voice is one of my favourite of all time! He doesn't get enough credit, I feel.

I can't believe Chicago didn't want to release this initially as a single. I remember the summer of 88 when I bought Chicago 19 and I took it home and listened to it in it's entirety, there were a lot of great tunes on it, but this was my favorite along with Runaround, We can last forever, and You're not Alone.

I remember playing RUNAROUND when I bought 19 . It should've been a single and the song on 18 I BELIEVE shouldve been a single. I never got over these songs being overlooked. Those record company geniuses really have neurological issues. 😮😮😮​@lamarravery4094
