That is always my first recommendation when people ask me what kind to buy. Always buy the kind that your team uses! But if you have the option to buy a set for a team or you are the first person on your team to get one then definitely get a King.

I'd LOOOOVVVEEEE to get me a King, but because I'm only a hobbyist with guard now (there's no world guards close to me lol), even the cheapest King is a little out of my budget! If I ever started teaching, then I'd be interested in getting me one, and getting them for the guard though!

When you do get to the point of purchasing a King just keep in mind that the cheapest King will outlast it’s price-comparative competitor!

King is the superior company for colorguard weapons! I have had my Synthetic Blade Sabre since 2010 when I got it as a present for Christmas that year and it still works like a charm! I will say there is a little bit of difference when spinning the top notch K2 sabres with the Synthetic Blade sabres mostly because the weight of the hilts. I definietly love my Synthetic Blade sabre (it was the one I was spinning in my Tik Tok you did a reaction to) and will say that if you do not had he budget for the K2 sabres, the Synthetic Blade model is a great choice!

Agreed!!! The extra cost of the KS2 is definitely for that top notch spin, but all three will outlast their price-comparative competition.

Are there any sabres that might look and spin like the king Sabre for a cheaper price that you know of?
@SpintronixGuard Жыл бұрын
Nothing both looks AND spins like a King. There are dupes out there that replicate the look, but they spin so terribly and break so easily that they just aren’t worth the hassle, even for the cheaper price. If you want something that spins well, get a King. If you watched the whole video you can see they have affordable options that just look a little different. They still spin great!

As someone starting out, what size Sabre do you recommend? Like what would the standard size be, if there is one
@SpintronixGuard Жыл бұрын
I always recommend getting the length that your guard uses, or the length used by the guard you want to be a part of. There isn’t like a “beginner length” or anything, but once you learn technique on one length it can be an obstacle to have to adjust for a different length.
