Thank you Debbie, awesome info. I do would like you to do a video only about Special Employee Category, Special Provision, it's High-3 and Pension and the general TSP rules when retirement of these specific fed employees, I saw one of our videos, before I thought overtime was not included into the High-3 but after I saw your video I realized its include in 50%, thanks!

The special employee category class is four hours. I can’t do it in 20 minutes. But I can do a short snippet about how special provision employees are different from traditional employees. I’ll put that on my to do list. Thank you for the suggestion.

Started at 33 years of age. Turned 34 the same year (2008). As long as my health stays ok hoping to retire in 2042, 67 years of age, 33 years of service if I did the math right. Currently a GS employee. Currently living in TX. Possibly moving to another state come retirement.

I have no idea why You Tube sends me notification of some comments but not of others (like this one) so I am just seeing it. Sorry for the delay. Sounds like a great plan. Voluntary retirement is your MRA (55-57) with 30 years of service, age 60 with at least 20 years of service or at least 62 with as little as 5 years of creditable civilian service.

Thank you very much for the great information. Question: Do I need to list my ex-spouse on my FERS retirement application if we were married for less than 10 years (25 years ago)? Thank you!

You're welcome. How long you were married and/or how long ago, doesn't matter. You would only have to list your ex if the divorce decree specifically says that you must leave that person part of your retirement and/or a survivor benefit. If the decree doesn't mention it, then no.
