the way kpop stans decided to run with the idea that lesserafim cant sing will always be the craziest thing to me. people saw 10 second video clips on tiktok and twitter of their bad moments and decided to run with that, people refuse to watch the full performance and actually enjoy the performance like normal people instead of nit picking bad clips. they have crazy choreos and still sing decently, that takes a lot..

I don't think you understand the point of the video. This isn't about who's the best vocalist. LSF doesn't sing live every time, and their raw vocals are not good at all. They can't do the bare minimum. I won't compare their vocals with Mamamoo, because that would be ridiculous, especially because MMM is the best vocal group in Kpop and the only group that always sing live. But let's compare LSF with their seniors like Gfriend who built their company, kicked them out so they can debut LSF. Le Sserafim is nowhere near their level at this moment.

Their vocals are not even average! 2nd: Sakura is in this industry for 10 years and still can't do the bare minimum. As a Fearnot fanboy, happy to see a more objective view of their performance even though I know haters will still disagree. At the same time, I’d say it’s not exactly fair to use the music show performances of the other groups where we know there’s definitely a lot more splitting involved. I think a good example would be the NMixx one you looked at, where there was much more of a live singing element than say if they had done the same thing on Inkigayo. Will be interesting to see other types of stages outside of Korean music shows and how each group would manage performances differently.

Humans are not perfect, you could say it's their job but what's important is their fans love and entertain of the love they give to their fans. Lol no kpop groups always sing live. There are days when they sing live and days when they just dont for many reasons. Lsf singing live in some performances does not mean that they can sing well, just like there are good singers who lipsync for some performances for whatever reason, and there are also good singers who are just known to have good live vocals too. Sometimes, it's out of their hands because of how music shows work and big festivals like this. They are on a time crunch and must churn out as many performances as possible. That's why concerts or other things where they sing are important to look at. It's just not fair to label all these groups, especially the 4th and 5th generations, as not being able to sing live when people are not really giving them a chance.

It's not about giving chance because they always have a chance coz you see even if they lipsync, the mic are always on. There are lots of kpop idols who still sang despite having a backtrack and split (though mostly the live vocals are just 10 percent of the whole performance). And people will keep saying something to justify that when actually if they are not good singers then the company must focus on training them in that department before letting them debut. I am also just tired of seeing the fans justifying their idol, like the heck just accept the fact that some of them can't sing live. Yes, most of them can sing but singing live is really not their forte and I hope they can take people's criticism to improve themselves(especially to the company that handling them). Like duh they are entertaining to watch but honestly, every performance is almost just like the others.

Humm…Shows/Kpop shows always involve post-production and often adjust the audio. This includes fine-tuning live vocals and mixing in pre-recorded tracks to enhance the performance. Largely done all the time. Agencies can also pay for audio tuning to ensure high-quality sound, with the ability to adjust each member's mic on or off, or at a low volume. It's easy to notice that members who can sing well have their mics on, while others have theirs off or on low.

As a longtime fan I really don’t care when idols lip sync on music shows. They really don’t get paid enough to exhaust their vocals on such platforms, it’s really for the entertainment. I do have a problem when they don’t perform live at festivals and concerts where it’s all about fan engagement. Those events are also where they do get paid a large lump sum of money so it only makes sense to perform live. A lot of SM groups for example only perform live at paid events and not music shows. I also don’t mind a light backtrack in the back specifically for songs with super hard choreography.

about the aespa one, they definitely weren't singing live on any of the music show performance for supernova but it was for a reason. everyday after they go on a music show, they have another schedule which are university festivals where they actually SING supernova LIVE. And that goes on for like almost everyday during the promotions. because of how tiring their sched was, 2/4 of the members were even rushed to the hospital during this promo. Can I just say something about IVE? That one was really not live, it is from mcountdown and kbs, "some" from that music shows are not live (unless they labeled it as live). I only know that sometimes inkigayo is live and there is one time where they did live for Heya (mcountdown even labeled it as live) Idk what's really the point cuz lsf was in the other country and they really need to perform live (to prove themselves), all of the idols shown here are performing in music shows in Korea where lip synching is the "thing"... fir real, like aespa were going to many universities during supernova and armageddon promos where they always sang live, some of these performances were on the same day as the music shows. so i dont understand why they had 2 clips of a supernova music show stage and not at least one from the university performances when its known that aespa never sings live at music shows.

Usually, great singers are trash at lip syncing. So you know they are not singing really live looking at their mouths during the performance. In Babymonster, for example, Rami, Pharita, and Ahyeon are super bad at it, so it is super obvious.

they're not well known but i really recommend checking out pinkfantasy, they have, since their debut, almost always sang live and they do it even with their hardest chronographies. they deserve more attention but they tend to get ignored.
