"a place for everything and everything in it's place" is what my dad used to say. Ads usual, really good stuff. Thanks for all you do to help all of us by sharing your knowledge!

If I lived in Texas, I'd be honored to learn from you, sir. I'm looking into leather work as a side hustle from my 25 year parade gig.

I like the subtle, yet comedic value Don displays a lot in his videos. His wit is dry but expertly timed.

I use a tool belt. I didn’t have the time to make one so I purchased one off amazon. I do look forward to making one at some point, but this one works just fine. It took me a few weeks to figure out what tools I really needed but now I have my “go to” tools in there. The only problem I have with wearing a tool belt is when I sit down at the bench... But I have figured that out too! . Thanks for a great video again!

I've been watching your videos for a while and one of the things I picked up from you was wearing a tool belt. I took a old construction belt and use that for all my essentials and it has completely upgraded my work flow. When you find something that works for you, don't change it! Keep crushing

Thanks for sharing this! I really like the idea. Even thou I'm in a small shop, I still see this as being valuable. During my projects I find myself searching my bench for the tool I just set down. This belt would eliminate that and probably keep some of the clutter down. Think I'm going to give it a try.

Great idea. I have a few that I use all the time; store bought and handmade. I flatten copper pipe straps, re-bend them to hold tape measures, and rivet or screw them to the wall, ends of toolboxes and bags. Everywhere you could use a tape. They hold a work knife flat to the wall too. Cheers.

I bought some 8b pencils to try out. Really would prefer to use that over an awl to mark patterns (or a pen to trace cut lines).

Would you make a project video on making on of these?

It's kind of like an old pair of broke in boots. You kind of feel naked with a new pair on cause they just don't feel the same. When you used to having something on & you don't, you always notice that you are missing something.

A while back I went to a tile and countertop business and asked if I could go through their offcut scrap pile for a few pieces of stone. They gave me permission and I brought a few pieces home, cleaned up the sharp edges with an angle grinder, stone and flap wheel. All free. Cheers
