I would start RCIA but I have no method of transportation. 18, no license, nobody to drive me. What shall I do? If anyone has advice for me that would be great. Or should I just call my local church & I can discuss my issue with them? Also have an awesome day everyone !!!!

Calling your local parish is a great option, they should have some resources to deal with your situation. Depending on how far you are from the church, you could try several different options, including walking, carpooling with someone else in the RCIA class, or even getting transportation help from the church itself. That being said, I do encourage you to start a driver's ed course as soon as you get the chance. I'm eighteen years old as well, but I've had a license since sixteen and it is so helpful not only for religious stuff but anything else you do. I have no idea how I could get by in life without one. Especially as you move into adulthood and leave your parents, you'll really need one for most jobs and errands.

Contact closest Catholic church; see if someone can take you to RCIA, and take you to church on Sunday.

Are you saying you only have to abstain from meat on Fridays during lent? This is what the code of canon law says: Can. 1250 The penitential days and times in the universal Church are every Friday of the whole year and the season of Lent. Can. 1251 Abstinence from meat, or from some other food as determined by the Episcopal Conference, is to be observed on all Fridays, unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday. Abstinence and fasting are to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

The Catholic Church in the United States has an exception to this rule enacted by the USCCB, that other penances may be substituted for not eating meat on Fridays outside of Lent. Always be sure to check the rules set by your country's bishop's conference. That being said, not eating meat on any Fridays is a good rule to go by, as that is the default.

What level of Catholic are you? What are your plans for advancing in the faith?

I am probably somewhere between level 4 and level 5.

I'm not in communion with Rome, but would describe myself as a high church/Anglo-Catholic leaning Anglican. Right now, I'm fasting from Twitter and meat on Fridays for Lent.
