Even it’s a hard time for being quarantined inside their house, but they still feel lucky and glad of all the endeavors which the government has done. The lives there are quite in order during the lockdown cause the daily supplies can be provided and the medical system is functioning quite efficiently. So I really hope that we can stop the bias and face the problem critically .

Seeing her so positive in the beginning and noticing that it was a 9 minute video, I was worried we were going to witness her spirits breaking as time went on or something. I'm glad she maintained an upbeat attitude throughout the entire ordeal. I had an aunt and uncle who flew back to China right before this all broke out, though they don't live in Wuhan they stayed put for majority of their time in China. They came back to the US in February, stayed in (self) quarantine for two weeks and then the next thing you know, they're reliving this nightmare but now in the US.

No lockdown here in Japan. I'm not in Tokyo, but Tokyo is now going to be locked down on weekends. Events and public shared spaces are all cancelled here in my town. Japan is going to largely start returning to normal soon... except for Tokyo of course. The spread is getting much worse there because of how densely populated it is. I think that's a big reason why it's just Tokyo that is locking down on weekends. Even though there's no lockdown here, people are trying to avoid unnecessary trips out (particularly elderly people). In my part-time job, we have to scrub the tables and vending machines after each customer leaves.
