Interesting to have traffic in the water! The little children doing the canoeing 🛶 is interesting. It’s kinda like seeing little boys in cars on the road.

I know lots of people at Makoko. Once i was going to visit a family on the waters. I packed my car on land and when they paddled me in canoe to the place, i was to climb a stick to get up to the house and while climbing what happened? I slipped and fell straight into the water. Other canoes quickly came to my rescue and they felt sorry for me. They didnt know i was actually enjoying the whole experience and the family was immensely grateful that i sacrificed so much to come and see them. I have many more stories on Makoko but will be too many for this forum.

I've been watching your Nigerian videos. Nice that you can explore places of interest. I was in Cameroon for 16 years, and I hope to visit once more to see some of the changes that have taken place since I left

Elomo, nice one. I wish it was possible for you to explore other states. I would have said you should visit a place in OYO state called IGBO ORA. It's a place that when you are looking at everyone there you will think you are seeing double. It's recognised as the twin capital of the world because everybody living in that community is a TWIN. Crazy right? 😂😂😂😂

Yes, they should develop Makoko like Sicily. No one should contemplate demolishing the settlement, that would be insensitive and inhumane.

😂😂😂😂😂😂Funny you, you are the one who see view them suffering, the people dont see themselves suffering. if you take them to land they wont even stay because their lives depend on water. You should have asked them that " if given the opportunity to live on land will they go or choose to live here"? I bet u, 90% of them will prefer to live here on water than on land.
