Northern part along Gerrard st still has old Community Housing buildings under revitalization. Thats probably area to avoid but I hardly find myself up there ever at all. Totally fine for a female, my wife feels completely comfortable. TTC is as you would expect, streetcar service along Dundas is convenient.
