Thanks for the information!! I'll check it out!!! My favorite department store (Macy*s) where I live has been having problems obtaining samples from their distributors being just before Christmas of 2021. Their CSRs from the Fragrance Department have been given "soon", "back ordered", "out of stock" and other excuses when requesting men's sample scents and have been given limited female sample scents to offer to their customers. So thanks again for this information as well as your cool videos as I always wondered what it would be like living in New York!! Reality versus TV Drama Series......reality appears to be better by watching your vids.

Every time I watch one of Cash's videos, I total the amount of shots he sets up and it's mind boggling. One guy, one camera and he edits on the subway. Then uploads it six days a week. Yes especially since the common living space is so small. And I don't know why people want to charge more for Gods art/landscape, or even views of one world or other towers. They aren't anything to get excited about. Growing up watching Dick Clark rocking eve, I always wanted to see times square and the skating rink. I move to NYC and both are very small. The only place that did not disappoint was Coney Island. Loved just seeing the roller coaster didn't get on too scared. And Nathan's, love those dogs, then the fresh cooked candied peanuts 🥰so good and hot.

One thing I've learned from Cash's videos is, Manhattan landlords will chop up a beautiful two bedroom into barely legal closets with micro closets, all in the name of money. Screw quality of life for tenants.

This one of the main reasons I left NY and across the river to Jersey. I have the best view of NYC. The apartments are triple the size with minus the roaches, rodents and crime. Stainless steel appliances the whole works 🤷🏾‍♀️. The rent is significantly less. If you do decide to get a apartment in the NYC price range in Hudson county, you’ll only pay your monthly rent because EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED: utilities, gym, swimming pools, spa, tennis courts etc. All this for 30-40 minutes MAX commute to the city courtesy of NJTransit 🤷🏾‍♀️

If you're an old person like me, you'll remember that back in the day, almost every brownstone on the Upper West Side was split up into tiny studio/1-BR apartments where artists, musicians, weirdos, crazy cat ladies, strange old men with huge baseball card or model car collections, stoners and writers who wrote for 'zine's you could only buy in head shops could live. The small rooms were absolutely useful, because they made it possible for creative, interesting people without much money to live in the city and fill it with interesting, oddball, goofy and brilliant ideas. So sad that the NYC of my youth is gone. This Cash video does show an apartment that could actually work for three young people who are compatible, don't own much stuff and are committed to making it in the Big Apple. I welcome them! ❤ 💕

The location is good for those who stay home at night. It's a walkup, but only a couple of flights, and you don't have to lug your laundry anywhere. The apartment is small in every way and needs a rolling island for food prep. You'll need to buy window A/Cs. This one might function better as a 2-bedroom.

The van around 2:23 would actually make a great little RV, just put in a few windows, insulate it, furnish it and you'd be good to go! Living in a converted van has got to be the most affordable way to live in NYC. These converted vans can be bought or done up for as low as $7500 - $11,990, depending on where you buy it, how spartan or fancy you want the van interior to be, etc. And getting a permit to park long term in a neighborhood may cost between $500 and $1800 per month.

The monthly rent on this apartment is about twice what the monthly MORTAGE payment would be on a three bed two bath single family home in most other places in the U.S. And those steep, narrow, winding front steps! Imagine navigating those when they are coated with ice or snow. Unless you absolutely have to live in NYC within a 10-minute commute for a kind of employment that is not available anywhere else in the U.S., why would you choose to live in this city? Better to commute into the city than live there. Even better, work somewhere else with a much, much lower cost of living, less crowding and cleaner, more attractive surroundings.

That's just your opinion. Many people prefer to be within walking distance of any kind of entertainment or amenity they could possibly want. That comes with a higher price tag. It's more expensive because that's what more people prefer. I'd love to do that, but instead I live in the aforementioned single family home in Michigan where our mortgage is about even with the one-bedroom cost of this place. But I'd drop everything and move to this place in a second if I had the guts to do so.

There definitely are wheelchair accessible apartments in New York City, just not in the older buildings. The older buildings,those dating the 1920s and earlier, tend to have steep stairs, narrow corridors, standard size doorways and thus are not suited for wheelchair bound people. What you have to realize is that while wheelchairs did exist in the 19th and early 20th centuries, they were incredibly rare, and the disabled were often confined to institutions.

I just love your videos! Decent neighborhood and building, but it's a shame that these apartments are chopped up so that the rooms amd closets are way too small. This should be a 1 bed or, at most, a 2 bed. That way, the living room could be bigger and more livable. Bathrooms are quite nice, but the kitchen is small with not enough storage. All in all, it's too chopped up and too expensive.

I’m from this neighborhood, there are multiple reasons why it’s empty. It’s not affordable for native New Yorkers , no bath tubs , and it’s truly meant only for a single family. Technically if you live in NYC you’re not supposed to have no more than 2 roommates. Also no native ever takes the subway at Central Park. The subway line there is considered a drop off point, due to many factors , one of which females would be raped there , people being killed, etc. it’s never been safe.

Here is an idea. Travel contract RN's are paid housing stipend and a base pay hourly. They usually get less than local wage rate because housing is UNTAXED. When I was working as RN in Westchester the travel assignments available paid $3000 monthly. A three bedroom split walking distance to Central Park and Mt Sinai well maybe the rental market ie roomies wearing scrubs is down the block. Regards to family from Brookfield RS

My 1407 Sq feet single home mortgage is less than $900.00 per month. I have two large bedrooms and a Hugh open plan main room, a kitchen with a large breakfast nook plus 1 and a 1/2 baths plus an attached garage and .6-acre fenced in yard. I am in Port Huron, Michigan not New York City so that does make a difference.

That building at the beginning could be a well house(housing a well for that part of the city), or it could be a fresh air vent for the subway. Yellow van, possible child kidnappers. Covered car looks like a Model T that Ford used to make. As for the place itself. Looks nice. I can see the possibility of a window planter outside those windows that face that interior 'courtyard' if there is one. Just wish at times you would show a few more ADA compliant places.

Alternatively, the van could also be converted into a kind of motorhome. Converted vans ordinarily go for $8000 to $12,500 or so, including basic furnishings and facilities, and the monthly cost for a long term parking permit in New York City is probably a lot cheaper than the average rent on the average NYC apartment.

I don't understand why, in such a small kitchen with limited cabinet space, they would put a "beverage cooler" that is such a waste of space. Beautiful apt but I will always be shocked by the rents in NYC. I own a three bedroom house in New Orleans and my entire mortgage is less that one roommate would pay in that apt. LOL

Cash, the pool is the most beautiful part of Central Park, don’t call it a swamp. By the way, I live close by and the prices are going crazy in the city.

Factoring in the three way split, four if someone's dating/married, that's not much more than my apt which is not in a city. Three couple split that, and it's completely affordable
