What Life Was Like In 1900s In NEW YORK
New York is the country's most populated and worldwide city. It's urban area includes sections of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. New York, located at the junction of the Hudson and East rivers, is both the entryway to the North American continent and it's favored departure to the world's seas. But before we admire New York, let’s talk about and take a look back on what life was like in New York In 1900s.

My dad was born in 1904 in New York City. There were mostly horse and buggies on the road.

Fashion in NYC is braver and flamboyant. I love the styles but anyplace else a fashionista would be stared at and even laughed at. I love hats. When in NYC I freely wear hats.

Look at how well dressed and consistent everyone in New York was back then. Black coats, white button downs, nice, clean, and business-y. Today many New Yorkers dress in ghetto clothes, weird colors, flamboyant clothes. This is not an evolution of fashion, but a degredation

There was a lot work done to complete that subway because Philadelphia was building its first subway. It opened in 1907. They certainly didn't want Philly to beat NYC. 😂

The City did nothing by itself. The immigrants played the key role, they practically made New York, and this is still not being told directly.

I've never been in New York city. The only big town I've visited in the United States is Miami but I've seen also it very little... I've been in the United States just once, in Miami when I was about 27 years old. But I'd like flying again in the USA and visiting New York city because I believe it's one of the more beautiful place in the world and you should visit it at least once in lifetime. It's surely worth it.

@@yvonneplant9434 So what do you have today ? STDs thru the roof , diabetes, cancer , and other life threatening ailments ! Furthermore I could take the IRT subway in 1923 3 o’clock in the morning and not worry about getting killed , robbed , or thrown on the tracks by a mentally deranged homeless individual ! Yes what was life like in 1900 New York ? A time where God , family and country meant something unlike you’re world today !
