For the cathch and cook for kitties, I highly recommend blackened catfish!! louisiana cajun blackening seasoning applied liberally to a catfish fillets after a thin layer of melted butter then onto a super hot skillet. Takes like 30 seconds to a minute on each side for smaller fillets. Keep stacheturbating.

Hi Joshua thanks for the shoutout 2 vids ago I loved this one, I heard recently buffalchodes taste kinda good, I may try for myself but they are so damn elusive in the Wisconsin lakes and I can only get them during spawning season, your light spinning rod setup with the pflueger reel is nice, but the reel rusts easily, be warned. One day in the rain and mine ate shit. Diawa only for me now .

You always have a stringer available, its ur shoe lace and a stick lol, I've done it before, went out fishing thinking I wont catch something I want to eat and all the sudden do so what do you do? Unlace shoe lace and make it a stringer lol
@hubrisnaut4 жыл бұрын
When I was a kid we never had "a stringer". We would find a slender bush or tree and cut a stick where it branches into two. You slide one branch through the gills and out of the fishes mouth.

My brother and I have a carp competition going. He recently caught a 16 pound carp at this reservoir dam which doubled my previous record size. It was an absolutely massive fish and he caught it on my worst rod. Yet another reason why you should take someone who doesn't fish out fishing. The inexperienced anglers always catch the biggest honkers

I'm down in KC, I've got a farm pond just outside of town which holds MONSTERS!!! I pulled a 10lb 11oz Largemouth out of it, half pound shy of the 100 year old state record! Since then its typically 5, 6 and 7 pounds....If you ever feel up for the drive, let me know, I'd be happy to take you out there and turn you on to some bigguns! The neighbors pond is right there as well, his has kitties as well as big bass! It would be well worth the trip, every cast gets a bite or a fish.......
@mattscarborough37894 жыл бұрын
The missouri state record is 13 pound 14 ounce, but 10 lb 11oz is for sure a crazy fish!
@jeffffro76744 жыл бұрын
@@mattscarborough3789 it completely blew my mind, for days! My friend held him and I stuck BOTH my fists into his mouth! I had to run to the house for a scale, when I crested the hill, I saw one of the biggest, brightest and most beautiful orange harvest full moon, it stopped me in my tracks and I dropped to my knees and almost cried, so many different things lined up at that time I would have been shocked if we DIDN'T catch a monster like it! Measuring in at 28 inches, MOST of his weight was hanging down as a giant belly!!! Between the two of us, we caught 45 frickin Largemouth during that session, I lived it and I still have a tough time believing that it happened!!! Instead of the taxidermy route I decided to give me and others another shot at the beast, so it went right back in the pond! Since then my biggest is just over 7lbs and 21 inches, but I know they're lurking in there.......
@jeffffro76744 жыл бұрын
@@mattscarborough3789 anyone who wants to go have one of the best days of their life fishing is extended an invitation to my hidden gem of a pond, about 60 miles from the KC metro area! If you're down, give a fellow angler a shout and we'll make it happen Cap'n!!!!
