It’s a HARD pull because it is a VERY rare instrument and Gaijin would not have known what it is as it originates from GERMANY not Japan. The instrument is effectively a flat board with typically long strings that you hold across your lap completely horizontally.

I am late to this, but knowing that it was all a dream, Panic could have really unsettled Ragis Cade by moving him into the stairwell against his will: The dream spell allows you to manipulate the dream as much as the dreamer. So he could have made Cade get to the very edge of that infinite dark abyss by simply blocking him in with a wall, and moving the staircase and pit closer to Cade till he had no choice but to descend against his will. The only thing I can imagine Cade doing is waking up as he is forced to look down into the darkness or trying to shift the location all together before it was too late. Most people don't have that much control over their dreams however, so that would depend on Monty if he could manipulate the dream well enough.

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 1:34:48 : The Wisdom saving throw (and by extension the body part) associated with the sell are not needed to enter the target’s dream, rather, it’s only needed if you wish to take on a monstrous appearance, or in other words, it’s used to avoid the psychic damage and the other effect, not to avoid someone from entering the dream itself. 2:01:13 : The target of the spell can only take the psychic damage and the other effect only if the messenger appears “monstrous” and delivers a message of no more than 10 words. 2:01:13 : Connor claims that the spell causes a level of exhaustion, except that it instead “prevents the target from gaining any benefit from that rest.” There are, however, rules for going without a long rest in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything where you have to make a Constitution saving throw to avoid getting a level of exhaustion after a 24-hour period where you don’t rest..
