Example this ep: instead of asking Caleb to check the book she found, she instead burns a Ki point to do a half-assed Arcana check because SHE wants to be the one to find the information instead of him. Like, know your party strengths. Instead of trying to one-up the Wizard who is already doing some identifying, save the Ki for the next fight; you're only an hour into the session, one might pop up.

No one rolls to see if they observed that there were two. 1:17:10 Taliesin asks Nott if she put stuff from both chests in the pile and claims to have heard the traps. But Matt didn’t say the rest of the group heard them and Tal didn’t roll a perception check for Molly. Kinda feels meta-game-y, and adds to a pattern of Tal/Molly being shitty to Nott. Tal has been kinda crappy to Sam in general off and on since Scanlan’s big exit in campaign 1, and he always acts like he’s making some righteous point but his rants and abuses just kinda hit me as unkind and pointless. Dude literally said he was trying to teach Nott a lesson by being mean earlier but all he did was yell at her. It was ALMOST as weird as him trying to kiss Kaylie’s forehead after finding her eavesdropping on him screaming at her father. I don’t know if he knows how to interact with people.

If they ever animate the Mighty Nein I want the combat to not focus on Nott at all. Like it follows everyone on their turn and occasionally we see Nott run across the screen screaming or duck behind a box in the background. We see everyone else attack but Nott's bolts come out of nowhere or are already in the monster without anyone realizing she even shot it.

Ran face first into the same Black Dragon while it was invisible. Attacked one Ancient Dragon right after they'd attacked a completely different Ancient Dragon and hadn't had the time to rest first. Antony Jones Laura is shipping Beau/Yasha like everyone else at the table and Laura is the shipper-in-chief, along aside her husband (as evidenced by... all last campaign). Ashley kept looking at at Travis because she goes a long time in between sessions, and Travis knows knows how to play Barbarian very well, so she needed reassurance she was doing things correctly. Laura sat at the end because she was sick and pregnant and probably wanted to be able to duck out quickly if she didn’t feel well. You’re so wrong about this, it’s kinda insulting to anyone that’s been in a close group of friends while in a relationship.

Still blows my mind how in-character and awesome Travis has casually been all this time. In his head he's juggling using his own, real person voice to do a texan accent to mask his characters in-game real voice, and he uses his characters actual voice in moments where he's alone or in his dream sequences and it's so goddamn cool. For him to go from a big dumb barbarian boy to the groups defacto leader that makes consistently strong and sound strategies for the group, while managing his own dual identity (much like the others) has been so cool to watch. Fjord is my fuckin BOY. That's my DOG RIGHT THERE.

Same for me! I have dozens of fan pics of Caleb and Nott on my phone. What sold me most was when Caleb got taken out and Nott ran to him to cover him and while trying to stop the bleeding she took the blind crossbow shot!!!!! I got choked up at that performance. Then the whole Nott under Molly's spell when she confesses to trying to steal Fjord's Letter for Caleb to get into the school so he could get stronger to protect her and change her......gut wrenching, then immediately hilarious when she swips at the illusion of the jewel encrusted flask, crossbow drawn and says shit when she can't grab it and jets out.

Considering that this acid is not real-world reagent-grade purity and was made from something's fluids, Nott must have 2 drops of useless chemical mess, nothing more. In my opinion, it's not the actual threat, but the prove of their cunning and, cosequently, power. Something along the lines of "You didn't even think about it and we might pull off something much more serious without you noticing so you better nott try to mess with us".

I really like how Nott is so attached to Caleb, being a wizard is definitely costing him quite a bit of money, but because Nott is so protective of Caleb he basically gets 2 shares of the group's spoils. It offsets the cost when he's raking in twice as much.

The group benefits so much having a wizard I feel they should pitch in with their wizards costs. Just being able to identify all the items, and detect magical sources has helped them constantly. When the group depends on the wizards abilities that much they should assist the wizard in their costs. It's like saying we depend on you so much we need you to progress and have your abilities ready for when we need them.

And molly forgot about the pereipt of wound closure. He kept asking while rolling hit dice during their short rest that he had something that increased those. The item doubles healing done with hit dice used during a short rest

I think he did remember. Fords AC was 14 before but durring the last couple of fights he said its 15. It was a cloak of protection so all it does is just add 1 AC.

Jester is Chaotic Good and Chaotic characters do weave in subtle chaos here and there. I reckon some Chaotic Evil characters would try to put two people against each other or invent a device or procedure that disrupts the natural order. Their new characters suits this. Marisha tried to do so much with her simplistic spells as Keyleth. e.g. With my Level 2 grasping vines, I grab 3 people, throw them at Vecna, pulls me to safety, and cure cancer. With this monk, there are clear realistic limitations to what melee can accomplish. So all of her embellishment remains within flavor text and is rarely denied by Matt.

Belated reply: Nott could've used Mage Hand at any time to easily handle those urns. Sam nearly never remembers one of the Arcane Trickster's defining features. These guys and gals are great fun to watch. Their role-playing is so much fun; but they suck at the "game" of D&D. In general, they never bother to learn the game beyond a superficial level. It works for their game and fun, so it's perfectly okay; but they'd be dead very quickly at many, less forgiving tables.
