There's exactly one thing that worries me a little bit about the Netflix show. Specifically the bending. We've only seen a few scenes in the two trailers and it all looked kinda passable to good, but not all of the main characters have any knowledge about martial arts, let alone the specific four Kung Fu styles, used for the four bending elements. It could look incredible, if they use enough backround extras and stunt doubles with martial arts training and taught the actors who did not train this stuff good choreographies, but Iroh in the forest looked lackluster, while just flailing around with his arms before bending anything and Bumi did not really use proper stances and arm movements common for Hung Gar as two examples. Maybe they hid the best stuff from us, maybe not. I really hope for the former as someone who absolutely fell in love with the martial arts behind the magic system.
