Despite Leo being better, Lemmon and Emass both show some of the combo routes of joker a lot better. Its worth checking them out if you're trying to learn the different options Joker can do.

Watching Emass shamelessly do gun, eiha nair nair nair gun nair eiha nair gun nair gun gun eiha nair etc at one corner of the stage will never get old. He's very good at knowing the power dynamic in neutral, and that he can mash zoner buttons on you whenever he wants. It's effective and has low enough lag that he can switch into reactive play on a dime.

The concept of taking notes from significantly less skilled players of a character doesn't make sense to me. You can claim they show combo routes a lot better, but if that were actually true they'd also have better results.

@@shikarixox1195 Different players have different strengths. Discussing results is not as straightforward as "Player is bad". Matchup knowledge, tournament inexperience, and fundamentals can set players back, as well as just choosing the wrong options more often than they should. Joker is a character with more options than the average, and Leo doesn't need to use those since his gameplay excels in other areas. Leo also uses options he specifically prefers, that may not always fit another player's playstyle or game plan. Different players can also showcase mistakes a joker can do, while you can think about the option select you could do in the similar situation. Its fairly shortsighted overall to think that "Bad players can't possibly teach me anything", (disregarding Emass's performance vs Chag and Lemmon's performance vs Leon, and disregarding the existance of coaches). But as much as I love Marss, he might need an ego check and start taking smash seriously. The Joker discord is one of the most informative smashcords, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has never even taken a look at it because of the "low tier players"

Auto corrected this to Cloud and Fox after Sparg0 and Light gave everyone back air trauma a couple of tourneys ago 😕 that said, I got Joker in a random today. Won dropping off ledge with bair. It's so much faster and stronger than I thought, felt like I cheated for that win. We were fighting even all game then I got the persona thingy n just like smacked my opponent on the last stock.

@@splayharmony2616 pretty sure it was in response to the sexual misconduct scandal in 2020. I don't know the details, but it seems that the consensus now, at least among the pro players, is that Nairo was falsely accused

@@splayharmony2616 They banned him based off the initial allegations against him, then they never reviewed that decision once more evidence came into the picture. Legally, considering Nairo never even seemed to be criminally investigated, he should be in the clear, but Twitch hasn’t gone back on their knee-jerk reaction. They’re within their rights to uphold their decision, but it still is a stupid decision now, so people are still irritated with them.

Joker Tip: To short hop double gun, I personally mapped "z" to special. This way you can jump while shooting simultaneously rather than spamming B which often fails. This also helps with gun sliding and short hop side B while being agile in the air. Lastly, yes Marss, you should 100% add Arsene Fair 1 into run up Up Smash into your repertoire.
