Holy shit, what a close game and easily one of my favs of the year. Leo played very well and this run, he was fire and everyone played amazing especially Zackray and Snow. Makes me excited for the future as seeing Spargo, Hurt, Snow, BeastmodePaul rise up is really good and I think despite Steve, Smash has been increasingly hype and I never got bored aside from sonix but hey, even he sometimes gets fast too.

not entirely true. acola clearly did adapt as the set went on, particularly against those byleth nairs while hurt was able to weave around arsene and punish landings in that last stock. while he lost partially because of his plays, his opponents evidently answered back through adaptation.

People forget Leo hates to play against Snake. This is one of the characters he hates playing against. If you are a relly good Snake, Pikiman, MinMin or Steve. Leo then has a lot of trouble. He struggles against those characters because he doesn't know the match ups that well. Even when he does he will still lose.
