For anyone that wants to try the more gore code, here it is! Simply pause the game and enter the following button presses: C - B - A - B - B - A - B - B - C - B - B - C - C - B - B - C - B - C - A - C - C - A - A - A - B - B - B - A - C - A a sound will play to let you know you've done it right!

I grew up renting the SNES version but now own the Game Boy and Genesis version and the latter is my absolute favorite Sega game next to Shinobi 3. The game boy version is neat and has details like spent cartridges being ejected from Robos gun each shot

I loved this game when I was younger but I struggled to end it. I usually died around the futuristic terminator area and left it there. Also, when you die whatever weapon you have you will lose so when near death I would switch weapons so I keep the good weapon. I completed it once and was also very angry with the bullet sponge final boss

Wow, I forgot all about this game. Which is wierd considering its one that got a lot of play time on our genesis and is one I tried luring my snes friends over to play it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Glad you enjoy! your mileage may vary with my old style reviews haha, when my narrating and editing and jokes were far more basic (not that they're exactly professional now hehe)

Gotta love the "this boss is too easy. Let's crank the numbers up" mentality.

Love the music on this (well some of it) - great review buddy
@ordohereticus34272 жыл бұрын
The music and pacing, for me, made it a superior experience to the SNES version. Seriously, the entire ambience of the Sega MD/Genesis version was great, and in many regards, it even worked as an excellent RoboCop game with some Terminator thrown in as an alternative spin. Great concept.

This game is brutally difficult in every sense of the word. Especially the boss fights. They're literal bullet sponges if you're stuck using the standard weapon! Definitely one of fhe hardest genesis games I was able to beat alongside Contra Hard Corps, High Seas Havoc and the genesis version of Batman & Robin.

I can't believe Robocop Vs Terminator got comics and a video game, but not a movie.

Really fun look into the game! Snes version of course wasn't gory. It all seemed brighter and less gloomy which takes a bit away from the atmosphere. Up side is there are comic book cut scenes peppered throughout which the MD doesn't have. MD version all the way for me though!
@Vakantscull2 жыл бұрын
that's how lasting an impression the snes version left on me, I'd completely forgotten about the comic panels 😅

@@Vakantscull yeah it doesn't do anything else exceptional - last stage randomly from what I can recall is a very blocky FPS mode where Robo is a form of tank?! I'm sketchy on the details without looking it up but it's definitely there!

Why do the legs take longer to defeat then Sephiroth does in Final Fantasy?! Interesting look back on the game.

Loved the concept as a kid, rented it allot but when it came to my dad asking me to choose one game to buy.. I always ended picking up something stupid like B.O.B
@Vakantscull2 жыл бұрын
B.O.B. was a great game, If I hadn't been introduced to Robocop and Terminator way younger than I probably should have been (about 7 years old hehe) I probably would have picked B.O.B. too
