Pretty accurate but they kept showing the profile of Darius the Great (A much more powerful king than Cyrus but not as benevolent) when the narrator kept saying Cyrus the Great. Cyrus' capital was Pasargod not Perspolis but that's fine at least the viewers get a good glimps of the Persian mindset and heart.

Perhaps Putin could benefit from Cyrus the Great's manner of leadership. Cyrus seemed to have understood that his empire could benefit from embracing the ideas and habits from those he conquered.

Romans were really not that good warrior. Romans depended on closed combat using rigid formation and short sword not good for survival. Therefore, central Asian turks, Persians, Arabians are more successful who used horsing archers, fast cavalry charges on infantry.

At 10:38min was a falsehood. The persians did try to expand and even try to conquer Constantinople. They ultimately lost and that was their last attempt as a non islamacized people.

The Persians couldn't have attempted to conquer Constantinople because the namesake emperor Constantine hadn't been born yet.

The Romans were busy fighting themselves half the times. If they were more united during certain periods of time persia would have been conquered just like the Greeks did.

Persian had had many empires , which of them . The Achaemenid empire which the Greeks destroyed didn't exist with the rise of the roman empire. And at the height of the roman empire most of the colonies of the former Achaemenid empire were also Roman colonies
