What makes a company great? What does the word success mean for a company? For us at Comecer, it is to have some core values, such as People, Processes, and Performances.
We have codified all of this into a business model, ABM, implementing a disciplined and continuous improvement process that allows us to deliver world-class performance for employees, customers, and shareholders. With a common goal. To help people get better. To help people improve their lives.
The sum of these factors is the result of who we are today. A high-tech company, the leader in the design and implementation of aseptic and containment solutions for the production of Radiopharmaceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, and Regenerative Medicine known as ATMP.
We started far away. Comecer was founded in the 1970s as a technology supplier for the Italian Nuclear Agency and then transferred its know-how to the medical field.
During all this time we have grown.
We bought companies in Europe and opened subsidiaries in the United States and Asia. Then, in 2019, we joined the large ATS Automation Tooling Systems family, a Canadian multinational company. Nowadays, in addition to its headquarters in Castel Bolognese, Comecer has two production sites in Italy and the Netherlands, and four sales offices located in the United States and India, employing more than 400 people.
All Comecer solutions, particularly those aimed at cancer therapies, are high-tech. They are made to give greater precision in processing and more safety to workers, researchers, and patients.
With the Radiopharma application, Comecer can provide all the components for a production plant, but also all the measuring instruments and safety systems that allow patients to have a drug calibrated to their needs and health care workers to not expose themselves to risks.
For the Pharma application, which is dedicated to the production of traditional drugs, Comecer specializes in supplying isolators for the processing of sterile or toxic non-radioactive drugs to be utilized in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries.
Finally, for the ATMP application, we produce isolators and devices for the handling and processing of biological medicines and in particular of Medicinal Products for Advanced Therapies that represent the future of personalized medicine.
Talking about the future, ours is a path of growth in an ever-expanding market that rewards those who favor innovation and talent in research, engineering, and manufacturing.
