youtube commenters crack me the fuck up. this dude made a video based on his opinion and all these people wanna come on here and tell him what he should’ve done. Leave it up to some little sideline, no name, graffiti hater that is an expert on graffiti because they scroll endlessly through Instagram all day looking at graff. that’s the same dudes in every city that haven’t done shit or put in any real work. and those types of people are the reason why graffiti sucks and most dudes that have half a brain and aren’t suffering from some type of arrested adolescence issue end up quitting. real talk, let the dude do his channel even if you don’t agree with his info. it’s straight up wack.

dont really agree with all u say. Different tyles of tags use different types of markers, caps and cans. U woulnd do a really thin philly wicked with a shoe polish mop, or a flair tag with a needle cap. So always saying that u should practise on paper is kinde stupid. Also look into the style that is more in your region and not just on youtube or instagram like "tags and throws".

people like bando, gorey, o'clock and horfee have a lot of different tyles of tags and they are all from france. U also have tags like tox and 10foot which are really simple and easy to read. so its alspo important for u to know what type of people u want to recognice your tags, cause the public would see a 10foot tag and remeber it cause its so simple, bu not a popcorn of sniper tag from philly. another thing to look at is, does it matter for u if the tag is a one liner or not, a lot of poeple try to make thier handstyle a one liner while it would look a lot better if it wasnt cause not eery letters works as a one liner. a k is harder to pull of in 1 line then a r or an z. So my advice is not to just look on the internet because its fries your brain into making a copy of every nyc tg thier is, but to also look outside. Look at tags of different countries, bu books about graffiti in different places or look at hobo graff cause those guys have really cool inovatif ideas. and maybe check these guys (and gals) out: Farao (XTC), bread from philly, Shoe (amsterdam), delta (also amsterdam he also has cool pieces), mosa (pal), wombat and maybe gear (LD crew). One last thing, also look into different types of fonts and maybe vene caligrafie because its gives u a better understanding of letters

I see what you are saying. About the different markers and such. But I’ve had Homies hit up Philly hands in my black books with round tip markers. And if practicing your handstyle and developing it on paper is “stupid” where should one practice his or her handstyle? Where else are you going to get the layout of your letters down before you attempt it on a wall ? I think a good handstyle transcends region. A good tag is a good tag no matter where you are in the world. Thanks for the comment and insight. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks!! And much respect.
