@Graff Lounge, dont forget that the acid etching tags are also very dangerous for the people trying to buff them. There have been cases of the buff trying to buff etch tags thinking they're ink and fucking themselves up off the chemical reactions between the acid and their buff chemicals. Thats a reason people dont do it much either as its not fair on the buff.

Has anybody ever seen tags with caulking? I’ve seen people empty a wee bit out of the tube and add like a half oz of dye and you leave it over night and the dye permeates the caulk and it sticks and is 3d on any surface but sticks best to asphalt or cement or stucco. Things that are normally really difficult to tag on. And it’s next to impossible to buff.

Apparently they use hydrofluoric for the glass. That is absolutely insane. You can't just wash hydrofluoric acid off, and if you get it on you it eats your bones away. It's also highly toxic and exposure can lead to cardiac arrest. Wikipedia has its own page for hydrofluoric acid burns, which should tell you something about how dangerous that stuff is. If you're working with that, don't just tag a window and leave it there for some kid to come along and touch after you leave. It's also messed up if you're using it in an enclosed space like on a train because of the fumes, which are also no joke. I'd say using it on the outside of a window probably wouldn't be too bad. Be careful with that stuff, though; spill it on you and you can die or have your life changed forever.
