Love the “home” feel of that hobby store! I live in the US and whenever I travel to a new city I always try to visit the local game/hobby stores. The staff are always one of the biggest positives - I’ve luckily never encountered a store with staff that weren’t warm and welcoming. My recent visit to Connecticut’s local game store the staff were so inviting I spent more than an hour browsing, testing games, and just chatting. I didn’t plan to pick anything up but I left with multiple board games and some Magic the Gathering products!

Yep, I think that most hobby/game stores are run by people who have a passion for the hobby/games that they have. They are hobbyists or gamers themselves, and you can feel it in what they do. Interestingly, there was a speech at the Game Awards this year that kind of relates to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6e1nmd-gLBnnbMsi=v1HJQuNoOYeX696g

A place to game and some good 'male bonding' for me :)
