That's the excuse people have been giving R* for several years. GTA 6 was in development when the Dr. Dre Contract DLC was released. It's perhaps one of the best written storylines in the game not to mention how well it pays. Bottom Dollar Bounties had potential however, it was squandered in favor of testing how payers would respond to ridiculous cool down limitations. I have a feeling we'll see a lot more 24-hour cool downs on mission replay in the future.

I think it's that time where people need to accept it's completely fine to put down the game until the next update or longer if an update is subpar or bad. You can log on to get vehicles you like when they drop, but other than that if you have enough money for them and aren't a creator there's no reason to force yourself to play this game when 6 is around the corner and there's other good games to keep your preoccupied. If we're lucky we have 1 more decent update left, but after that any updates will more than likely be the most laughable yet and only exist so they can say they're still supporting the game.

The thing is PC and last gen players are SOL regarding VI. And as a PC player myself I'm not going to drop $500 just to play one game.

@@eddiew.4650 For PC players this sucks. But as for console players it's been 4-5 years since next Gen was released. If they don't have enough to get a next Gen console by then, they need to prioritize getting money or making better financial decisions. People can wait until the PS5 gets to prices like $300 or less, but by that time Sony and Microsoft will be getting ready to announce the next new consoles and the process will start over again.

If you've flown around the map a lot you get a sense of how big it is. There are several locations that remain unused, their purpose reduced to simply populating the map. Every new DLC sends players to locations that have already been used, some more than once, mostly recycled story mode locations. I have not played Bottom Dollar Bounties however I have a feeling previously used locations will be featured in all of the missions.

The autoshop is worth it for me just for the savings on car customization alone, the mini heists (on double money) and the customer cars (many are removed and purchasable + double money) are added bonuses.

Tuners DLC has to be my favourite update of all time; I still love all the cars to this day and while I don't do the mini heists anymore, I still use the auto shop as my spawn point and where I store my best cars. Second best update has to go to the Cayo Perico Heist DLC because that is mine and most others main income source as it only takes maximum 1 hour to get up to 1.4million solo and you can do it multiple times a day.

This is an insightful video and a good look into the current state of online updates, but I have to disagree with 2 of your points. As a level 600 player I use the auto shop’s business quite frequently, specifically the union depository mini heist, which I believe is quite good for money as it can be completed in ~30 minutes if not less for $300k. The second point is partially disagree with is your take on the impact of the vehicles introduced in the contract dlc, I do agree that some of the vehicles added are not class leading, the impact these vehicles had was the access to Amarni tech. Amarni tech, specifically the armour upgrades and the missile lock on jammer really improved the defence the average player has against griefers due to the higher amount of skill required to blow up and amarni tech vehicle with both of these upgrades on.

Fun fact: the Bravado Gauntlet front wheels are bigger than the size it is supposed to be, and every time you turn left or right, you will see a piece of the tire bugging with the wheel cover

I think another problem they have is green lighting DLC's months/a year in advance before it drops. If the writing & overall DLC is a stinker, & not well received - they have the problem that the future DLC(s) is already written & almost finished. The Contract. Cayo. Tuners & the old heists are all pretty good. I hardly even bother with the rest.

I disagree that the cars from the contract are “forgotten” the Imani tech vehicles are some of the best vehicles to use in GTAO, whether you’re in public lobbies or a solo invite, they are extremely useful. They are main cars I drive, the ones from the contract especially because they have ballistic glass windows + explosive resistance + the Imani tech; The newer Imani tech cars either don’t have the Armor or don’t have the ballistic glass, making them less favourable in my opinion. (Yes I do know that the electric vehicles have significantly more explosive resistance, but for the grand scheme of PvP & PvE, the glass makes a world of difference)

I strongly disagree with you, but I must admit that you make a valid point. When it comes to DLC and new content from Rockstar, I always feel excited and happy about having more things to do in the game. However, with the addition of the bounty hunter role, I find myself feeling overwhelmed as I try to manage my motorcycle and CEO businesses, along with other money-making ventures. Even though the bounty hunting business may not bring in substantial profits, I still find it intriguing. Capturing every individual as a bounty adds a unique element to the game and adds to the overall experience.

I think what’s make great update is how much content and scale of it. Like Cayo Perico they add whole new area to just do the heist which is awesome, All heist updates are great because how much content there is. Hope in the next big update is doomsday part 2 heist and we go underwater base to rob it.

That's not what we are complaining about, Bottom Dollar Bounties does not represent what GTA is about, the whole Bounty Hunting thing isn't fun, if you were a N.O.O.S.E Officer or LSPD officer than that would be fun as you are fighting against very dangerous criminals. Bottom Dollar Bounties isn't that, it is not fun.
